If so, please let us know about them! Books can be about coping, medical information, etc. Also, if you know of any good articles or other resources post that too!
Many people already know about this book, but I feel it's one of the best books I've read--Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Wechsler. Another interesting book from a couple's perspective is A Little Pregnant by Carbone and Decker. And Experiencing Infertility by Peoples and Ferguson is another interesting book.

Someone of FT suggested this book to me... I haven't read it yet, but I heard that it is good.
"Supernatural Childbirth: Experiencing the Promises of God Concerning Conception and Delivery" by Jackie Mize.
Another one that was suggested was "Hannah's Hope" by: Jennifer Saake
I'm looking into both of these...Last edited by Daviso; 11-06-2005 at 12:40 PM. Reason: add a book

The best books I've read (and I've read a LOT more than these) are:
* "Endometriosis: The Complete Reference For Taking Charge of Your Health" by Mary Lou Ballweg and the Endometriosis Association (about endo, immune issues, and infertility)

* "A Few Good Eggs" by Julie Vargo and Maureen Regan (handy guide to primary and secondary infertility written by former patients)
* "Conquering Infertility" by Alice D. Domar (about infertility, the mind-body connection, testing, treatment)

* "Expecting Miracles" by Christo Zouves (story-based, about IVF, includes immune issues info)

* "Inconceivable: A Woman's Triumph over Despair and Statisitics" (about high FSH)
* "In Vitro Fertilization: the A.R.T. of Making Babies" by Geoffery Sher, et al (fact-based, about IVF, includes immune issues info)

Hope that helps!

I got ' Fertility and conception" by Zita West ( published by DK) at the start of my treatment. It's very easy to understand. I found it very helpful as I could know exactly what thr dr was explaining, also very good advice on supplements. Highly recommend!

Great Bopks
I've read two that are very comforting, informative, and above all...validated my feelings. They are:
The Infertility Companion, by Sandra L. Glahn, TH.M & William R. Cutrer, M.D.
The Conception Chronicles, by Patty Doyle Debano, Courteny Edgerton Menzel, and Shelly Dicken Sutphen.
The second one was really funny. The cover is pink with a pregnancy test broken in half on the front. It was written by three friends who share their struggles. It even includes emails they had shared through the years.

"A Few Good Eggs- Two Chicks Dish on Overcoming the Insanity of Infertility" by Julie Vargo and Maureen Reagan
This is a GREAT book that deals more with the emotional aspects of IF (as opposed to the medical). There is a lot of humor in it and it is like having a friend to talk to...one that has already gone through IF and understands what your going through.

my husband spotted it!
Hi all,
I was so impressed and felt so supported when my dh found "Nurturing Yourself Through IVF" online and bought it for me. It was great - very real and helpful: www.nurturingthroughivf.com
I also love and highly recommend 'The Infertility Cure' by Dr Randine Lewis. It's about Chinese medicine and IF, but I found it to be one of the most hopeful books I could read through this journey.

hey,
i also loved "a few good eggs". it was really funny and informative at the same time. i know it sounds corny, but i found myself laughing and crying...
i also liked "fertility for dummies" by jackiee meyers-thompson and sharon perkins, it was very informative, clear, and easy to read.

I loved "a few good eggs" too...It was funny and put everything into perspective for me. It made me feel better knowing there is a large percentage of people going through this! I passed in on to a girl at work who loved it!
