Please Post Your Experiences With Clomid Here

Hi all!

So many people have questions about Clomid, I thought it might be helpful to group everyone's experiences in one place. We can do the same for tests too (such as HSG, etc.) if there is enough interest.

If you have taken Clomid and would like to share anything about it, such as side effects or success, please post here!

Thanks,
Cel

Smile new clomid user

I am new to this site and so comforted that there is somewhere friendly to go and not feel alone. My husband and I have been ttc for almost 2 years & had m/c last sept-haven't been prego since. Anyway-my cycles are so messed up so I just started Clomid-not too bad w/side effects-some hot flashes and I was pretty hormonal yesterday (last day of pills) but on the up side-since taking them I haven't been as tired as usual. Our fingers are crossed that this helps us!! It seems everyone around us is prego and/or having babies.

Hi
I am relatively new to Clomid use so far i have taken one trial and no pregnancy i am in my second trial - no particular side effects apart from some twinges on my sides. I take HCG as well and that causes substantial discomfort...anyone else like me?

I was on Clomid for a year and a half with no side effects. I responded well to it, jsut that the little guys from hubbie couldn't swim that far to the eggs. IVF was our only choice

Hi Jules,

Yes I get lots of breast tenderness ... i think that may be due to the progesterone supplements I take after HCG as well.Usually breast tenderness starts1 1/2 week after i have stopped the Clomid. At the moment i am in my 2 week wait..nerve wracking and i do not feel hopeful at all....we'll wait and see
Thanks for answering.....good luck

Zizzie

Zizzie-

That's about the time that they started to hurt-about 1&1/2 weeks ago-I don't take progesterone tho. I hate that a lot of the side effects are the same as pg!! Frustrating-I am in the 2ww too. I am too niave at this point to feel hopeful/hopeless. After months of neg hpt its so hard and disappointing to get your hopes up-but its hard to not be hopeful becuase of new treatment-its an endless cycle!! I have my fingers crossed for you-know you are not alone in the nerve racking department and the I am sending positive thoughts your way. Take Care!!
