Is anyone having pain in their hands? My hands are starting to swell, not too bad yet, but the knuckles hurt so much, I feel like I have arthritis. I also wake up nightly with a hand that has fallen completely asleep and I have to shake it for a while until the blood gets flowing. Ugh, the weird pregnancy symptoms that nobody ever tells you about before hand![]()

Bre - It was pretty funny
Parts of being pregnant are awesome, like the kicking and moving of the babies (well, depending upon where they're kicking sometimes), but other parts, like the ankles the size of softballs, the arthritic feeling hands, and the acid reflux are not so good. All worth it of course, and we're nearing the finish line!
Hopeful - We also took a tour of the hospital last night. It was good, but standing (mostly in place) for over an hour is not something I can do easily at this point, and my ankles were huge by the end. We felt they could have made our tour take half the time.Research study on frozen eggs, no embryos made it. 9/2010

oh yes! everything falls alseep constantly Jessica! And, another thing that I was not informed of before having the boys... the epidural can cause temp. nerve damage, where that can continue for up to a year after giving birth. Which, it did for me. Every time I sat still for more than 5 minutes my entire lower half was falling asleep.
I haven't had a tour of this hospital... and it makes me a little nervous. I think I'll only get one if I take a birthing class, which I'm not going to do. Between the drive and cost, it isn't worth it. I'm not sure I used or remembered anything from the one I took with the boys.
Has anyone thought of putting together a labor playlist for an ipod? I was thinking about it last night... but I'm not sure what I'd put on it!

Ash - Thanks for the warning on the epidural! I have thought of putting together a cd... actually I told DH he was in charge of it
So no idea what'll be on it, except for "It's a boy" by The Who and "Carolina Girl, Best in the World" by Chairman of the Board.

Hey ladies...I do have an appt tomorrow. Just for weight and measurement and to clear me for the move. The moving company should be showing up any minute now!! I hate the fact that dh left me here all by myself to supervise the movers. A 7 1/2 month pregnant woman watching movers by herself (scary)!! They will pack today and tomorrow then take everything on friday. We submitted our package to our bank for the "short sale" on our house. Keep me in your prayers that it gets approved. We thought we found a rental home but, the realtor has yet to get back with us. I feel like my world is spinning so fast I hope it will calm down soon.
Kiah, I also think that it is amazing that we (ash, bre, and you) met 3 years ago online and are all pregnant and having girls!! AMAZING how GOD works!!
Ash, Your nursery is adorable!!
Bre, how is the big girl bed thing going!!
Jessica, I think that is amazing that you got a suprise baby shower. I also had to LOL at you reading and eating ice cream crying.
Hopeful, I am hoping to take a tour of my new hospital sometime in the next month once we get settled in.
Christine, I AM HUNGRY TOO!!

Jessica-my hands/arms go numb every day and night...includ. my legs depending on how Im sitting. If its the hands, they call it pregnancy carpal tunnel...just everything is pressing on our nerves and though its irritiating and a bit worrisome, they say its normal and ok.
Not doing a tour of hospital as we did it 2 yrs ago and same hospital. Its a nice hospital and not too old...maybe 5 yrs...
Pink, best of luck on the move! Thank goodness you dont have to do the packing!!!
Im always hungry! I thought I was being good yesterday, as I always seem to be eating junk, candy, cookies, yestesrday I didnt...so i broke out the mini flavored rice cakes...and next thing I know, the whole bag is gone!! Oops! Even though I think Im a bit smaller this time around, Im sure my weight is not!! I can't stop!
