Hi there ...

I remember that you said that you were a photographer .... well I have a question for you !

I use a digital camera and am getting rubbish shots of Rowan. I used to use a Canon A1 and got great shots but it's such a pain using rolls of film etc. where digital is so convenient.

So, your photos, do you also use a digital ? If so, is it just a regular ole camera or is it a super one ? I just have a $300 Nikon, pretty basic, horrible delay, and very blurry if I take the flash off. I need some good shots of Rowan as he seems to be changing so quickly !

Thanks for any tips !
Teresa

For my everyday photos I have the canon rebel dig. I did have a point and shoot which is what your camera is, I am sure and the delay was horrible. Most of those cameras have a bad delay. them that causes all your pics to be blurry..that sucks..
When I was showing a friend of mine how to work her dig. camera, I was noticing that she was pushing the button to take the picture so fast and alot of the dig. cameras you hold the button down half way and it will focus then press it the rest of the way to take the picture. Thats the hard part with babies they are moving so fast.
I don't know but have heard good things about the Kodak dig. cameras
My canon is an SLR. just like the film cameras but dig. I love it !!!!
My film cameras are collecting dust...LOL

edit to add... on my belly pictures of Shelby. I have a big flash that I point up towards the ceiling bo bounce the light..so I am not flashing in her eyes. That might look different to you too.

thanks so much ! DH is out comparison shopping right now I was looking at the Canon EOS 30D .... he was looking at an Olympus .... quite exciting ! I try the focus on the little nikon but it's just not a great camera, after using my A1 that I loved .... the delay is what gets me so frustrated, so hard to get that good shot !

I appreciate the advice ! Hope to be posting some neat photos soon, not as quality as yours but better than my previous attempts
