How's everyone and their LO's doing? It's been quiet here, we must all be busy chasing babies!

My kiddos are doing well. Annabelle is finally starting to gain weight again, they put her on an antibiotic at her last appt and that seems to be getting rid of the last of her "crunchy" sounding lungs. She is starting to babble a lot and the two of them are starting to interact more and talk to each other a little. Dominik is everywhere, moving and keeping me busy! I can't believe they're 9 months old already, time is flying way too fast!

    Hey Jes,
Our board is so slow these days! I had to start sleep training Brady, it's been hard but he was still waking 4-6 times a night. CIO is so hard but I didn't have much choice. So far we are down to waking 2-3 times a night. Hopefully he will improve each night. He is also moving around more, not crawling but getting on his hands and knees more. He can almost pull himself up also. Yesterday he was trying to pull himself up on the toy box and get a toy out. He almost had it!
He is a big eater too, he loves any kind of food...

Hope everyone is doing well, check in when you all can!

Everything is going great for us.
Jack is crawling and trying to figure out walking! :O He pulls up on the couch and walks the length of it, and has a walking toy that he can pull up and push (he can't control the direction and it's very wobbly but he sure does try).
We are off our reflux medications and he is doing well without them.
We have 3 teeth! But hate using them! He is not a good eatter when it comes to solids. He refuses all veggies - loves most fruit (but only pureed). He will eat cherrios, but I can't get him to pick up things like peices of fruit to eat - Bananas, strawberries, etc... he just won't do it. I don't know if it's a texture thing or what...
He sleeps well through the night - we go to bed at 9-10pm everynight and sleep until 7:30-8 every morning. I guess I'm lucky. He fights naps a lot though - it's not uncommon to spend an afternoon napping with him because if I try to put him down he wakes up and cries after like 10 minutes. So it goes better if I just sleep with him.

Anyone have any ideas of activities/games to play with their kiddos? I'm getting tired of the same ol' stuff, but he won't do books yet, he still insists on eating them instead of letting me hold it and point at stuff!

Hopeful-How long did you let him cry? I had to let Brady cry for 45 minutes and now we are down to 20 minutes at night-I hate it but I feel like it has worked some. I still feed him once a night though just in case he is hungry. My milk supply is way down now since I don't pump anymore so I never know is he is getting enough.

Christine-We play so big and peek a boo, he loves that but they do get old. I try to get him to lift his arms up but he won't. WOW your LO is really on the move! I found these game ideas online. Here is the link. Games to Play with 9 – 12 Month old Babies | Games To Play With Babies
I noticed that Brady really loves his big brother so maybe get Jack a playdate, he would probably love that.

Brady doesn't like to eat fruit either by picking it up, he rather have crackers and puffs.

    Hey ladies!!

I know i haven't been on here in forever. Lily is doing great getting big. She just hit 14 pounds last week. She finally started crawling 3 days ago. She is pulling up on everything tho..She finally started sleeping through the night in january. She sleeps from 7:30-8 to 5:30-6AM she nurses for 10 min then goes back to sleep for a couple of hours. She still has reflux and is still on meds for that. They are concerned about her weight/height. She is in the 1 percentile. She will have a appointment with a genetic doctor soon to do a assesment on dwarfism. I am still shocked that i am still BFing her. She loves food now and eats everything you put in front of her.

    Christine,

lily has 3 teeth also! so glad jack is off reflux meds. I can't wait for the day that lily no longer needs them. we have tried many times to take her off but, all attempts have failed. I also take naps with lily too when i am home. I also feel like i do the same things with lily. But, her big sister is a huge entertainer for her.

    hope,

i don't know how you were able to CIO. I tried it a couple of times and couldn't do it. I still rock lily to sleep. ( i know bad habit). I hate pumping but, i have to when i am at work.

    Hopeful,

how is luca sleeping? any better? I thought lily would never sleep though the night but, i finally moved her out of our bed and into her own room and she started to sleep through the night.

    Jess,

    How are the twins??

Pink - Sounds like Lily is doing good even though she is small. Hope everything comes back normal with the geneticist and she's just a slow grower! Keep us updated.

I am also having growth issues with the twins. For Annabelle I know what to do, she is just over 15 pounds, had hit 16, then got the stomach flu and lost a pound I can't get Dominik to gain weight. And I'm starting to stress about it. He had gotten over 17 pounds, the last two weeks he lost 2, then 1 ounce, so he's at 16.13 pounds. He is soooo active, never stops moving. But I really want him to gain weight. I worry that I'm not producing enough, not giving them enough solids, etc. Any suggestions? Other than that, we're all doing good. D is pulling himself up, cruising everywhere, crawling FAST! And doesn't want to be away from me for a second! A is pulling herself up and cruising, but has no interest in crawling. Not sure if she will ever crawl. She is waving and babbling and D is babbling and clapping. They are a lot of fun, but a lot of work now that they don't want to be out of my sight ever. They crack me up daily

Jes-Does he still like to nurse? I guess do that as much as possible even at night if he wakes up. Brady weighed 19 lbs at his 9 month appt. He nurses at night though still. I tried the CIO but then he started to get a hoarse voice all the time and that just make me feel bad I don't know how I will ever break him of this, I am thinking now at 12 months since he can have whole milk. It's going to be a challenge....

He starting army crawling at the end of 9 months and now he kind of does a crab crawl or butt scoot, he really is getting around now! I didn't think he was going to crawl either because he was a lot slower physically than my other son.

I still can't believe that he will be one at the end of May. Time is flying by! Hope everyone is doing well.

Still nursing, that boy loves the boobies, lol. I don't know when I'll wean them - don't think Annabelle will care, but Dominik will for sure. Though lately, he likes to stick his hands down my tank top a lot - waiting until he causes a wardrobe malfunction in public. I have started feeding them more solids, actually they eat the same dinner as us now. They have been wolfing down the food, they usually eat around 1/2 an adult portion. And they both are starting to pack on the weight, finally! A gained 13 oz last week and D 10 oz!!! Feeling much better, I guess I just wasn't feedin them enough solids.

It is kinda sad how fast time goes by. I cannot believe our babies are going to be 1 soon! Soon it'll be time to think about another, but not for a year or two!!
