Brag about your baby here!!!

Aria has started to say "Chi Chi, 'mere!" (Chi chi is what she calls Casey our dog, 'mere is Come here); "Dadda, see you!" since dh works upstairs off the kitchen. I'm not sure that those are real sentences, more like commands!
Last night at bed, she didn't want to lie down right away to sleep and asked for "book" and "agua" --Really? Already the sleep delay tactics?

She is still singing the ABC song--certain letters very clearly and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and counts from 1 to 10 very clearly but I don't think she associates it with counting, kwim? We work on reading but with limited success--she has no patience for that.

She hugged all her play group friends this am and kissed one of the boy twins right on the mouth Can I just say dh is counseling her about not kissing boys till she's in her 20's?

She loves "chalkies" (chocolate) and cookies and cheese and apple and asks for them frequently. She will sometimes say "chicken, kitchen".

She loves to dance to Pink's "So What" (Na na na na na na na) every morning with me. She also can identify pink the color--maybe cause I dress her in it so much?

She stands on the couch and when I tell her to please be a good girl, she sits and says "Good girl" but quickly stands again and gets a timeout.

She loves her phones. Talks on them all the time...obviously she is a mimic!

I love her soooo much!!!!!!!

Ok. I don't know what to say after that. I was proud that when I say "Let's walk down to the bridge" that he knows where that is and leads me there. LOL.

Aria is obviously a genius.

I think they know SO much more than we give them credit for whether they are talking a lot or not!

She is BRILLIANT, Rachel! And Wyatt is too....he just processes things more internally.

My biggest brag lately is she can hum the tune of songs she's heard....she doesn't use the right words, but she's got the tune down perfectly. Her favorite is the ABC song. DH is a musician and says one day we'll tell her that "she could carry a tune before she learned to talk."

She talks (has about 30 or so words), but 90% of it is her own little language....it is hysterical to listen to...here she is reading last week:

I need more time to read all these later, but our brag is that Henry can eat 10 times his weight in a single sitting.

Wow do we have smart, cute and talented kids in our group!

Slacker-Noah loves to do the downward dog pose too.

Well aside from being incredibly adorable Noah is getting smarter and smarter. He is so interested in how things work. If he's playing with an electronic toy then he has to really check it out to see what makes it work. He loves anything with wheel's and will flip the toy/car over and spin the wheels and then he really looks at all the parts, you can see his little mind working. He all of a sudden loves to give hugs. If you put out your arms and say "Hug Noah" he'll come running towards to arms wide open and give you a huge hug and then back up, look at you and say "Yay" while clapping.

We have some serious braniacs here! Wow, I am amazed by all the stories.

I already posted my latest brag, that Drew knows several of his colors. He is also starting to say 2-3 word "sentences." Tonight I got "No Nigh Nigh" (no night night) Not quite sure I am proud of that one! Something he has learned from his sister recently, when we are in the car and the light turns green, I hear "Geen...re, se, go!" (Ready, set, go). Great, now I have two back seat drivers.

I LOVE reading about all of these brags! Our babes are getting so big and I think they are all brilliant! The videos were too cute and I think we need to share such things more often.

I had already mentioned on another thread that B had 4-5 word sentences - not all the time but sometimes he just spits them out. He still babbles in his own language and uses mostly 2-3 words together.

I'm not sure if this is a brag or just some random oddity. B loves certain letters and numbers. He will scan everything from billboards, things at the grocery store, the text in his books, just to point out the letters or numbers. He really is fascinated with the number 8. We were at the store and I was holding him at the check out. There was a sign by the checkout and he kept pointing to it and saying "broken 8" over and over. I was busy paying and DH was putting bags in the cart. We started talking about what he was saying, followed his finger to the sign and he was pointing to this:

&

It was in the middle of the sign. We look at it and agree that it does look like a broken 8! We thought it was hilarious and gave him praise for his astute analysis - never realized that the ampersand (sp?) looked like a broken 8!
