Update on B

Hi - sorry to barge - I'm Jen213 from the Jan 06 parenting board. Brandi emailed this morning & asked me to update you guys. She was admitted to the hospital very early this morning due to contractions & she's 4cm dialated & 70% effaced. They are in super prevention mode right now & are trying very hard to slow labor as much as possible. She says they have given her magnesium sulfate & have been able to slow down the contractions. Steve is at home with Timmy. B is 31wks and will be at the hospital now for the duration of the pg'cy. She could really use everyone's thoughts & prayers right now. She'll keep us updated with her progress.

Hang in there B!!!!! We love you!!!!

You are in my thoughts and prayers!! Hang on as long as possible...i want to put you in remembrance of some great advice shared just htis week...from Dawn:

What is up with us going into hospital early??? I think these babies have such great, loving mommies that they want to come out and meet us badly! Stay in there kiddos, you will get to meet us soon.

Hey guys - I'm just getting in tonight. Here's the messages that I've received via email while I've been gone.

Brandi at 5:44pm central time:
"Hey all. Getting ready for some demerol to calm me for a while. Dr and peri were here. Baby A is descending - they felt her foot. She's at zero. If we can make it till past 11pm tonight the steroids will have run their course. If we can make it through the weekend, it will be a true miracle. Please pray for my babies. I've never been so scared in all my life - ever.

I love you guys."

And then an email from her assistant at work at 6:06pm central time:
"Hi there...
This is Brandi's assistant emailing with an update. I know you are all
close with her, and yes I broke into her emails so I can update you
gals. I just received word from Steve that the girls will most likely
be here some time this weekend, sooner than later in the weekend.
She is pretty much sedated and out of it right now. I will keep all of
you posted as I get more news on her. Please keep her and the girls in
your prayers."

Brandi, you are definitely in my thoughts and prayers. I'm hoping for a nice, peaceful delivery and recovery for you and for the babies to be ready to face the world!!! Keep us posted, please.
