Hi Girls! Yes, after 2 days of slow labor with NO progression, I was sectioned. I was in misery and went in to labor and delivery thinking, this was IT. I was only 2 cm. I couldnt believe it! Section went well, a little scary. ALL worth it.
I named my little angel Alexis Michelle. She is PERFECT! Thanks for all your well wishes!

Welcome Alexis, and CONGRATS Jen!! I know how you feel about the slow progression. I did 26 hours and only got to 5 1/2cm., and that was with a four hour Pitocin drip! Plus, considering the size of my baby, even if I got to 10, he would have been forceps or vacuumed out. I am just so happy for you that the process is over, and you have your healthy baby girl in your arms.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Thanks So Much Girls! I Feel So Much Better This Week. Feeling Better Every Day. Im Actually Surprised The Recovery From A Section Wasnt Worse. I Was Expecting A Long Drawn Out Recovery With Lots Of Pain, But I Have To Say...not Too Bad! It Was Not So Good For Just A Few Days, And Even Then, It Sure Was Better Than The Contractions! The Fear Of The Unknown Had The Best Of Me I Think. Im So Glad I Had The Section, And Arent Babies Fantastic???
