What are you eating? Fess up!!

Ok, at this point most of our appetites are probably picking up.

So, what are you eating lately? Are you craving anything weird? And, what are you eating that you are ashamed to admit?!

I'll start:

I'm not a breakfast person so I tend to skip breakfast. I haven't really craved anything weird yet. And, I'm ashamed to admit that I've eaten a whole bag of Doritos in 2 days time. If I keep eating like this... my DH is going to have to ROLL me into labor & delivery!

I'm not craving anything weird but I eat pizza all of the time. I haven't felt like cooking much since I found out I was pg so we tend to eat out or make simple meals.

I craved Jello for a while, but mainly it's been spaghetti. Can't get enough of it!!!

My appetite hasn't picked up yet. If anything it's slowed down. But, the same thing happened with my 1st ds. It'll gain momentum soon I'm sure!! I did eat 3 lbs of grape tomatoes in two days a few weeks ago. Couldn't get any spaghetti at the time, so tomatoes had to do!

I've been eating WAY too much junk food this week. My dh had his tonsils removed on Monday. My back went out (not pg related) on Wednesday. So between caring for him & my ds and dealing with barely being able to walk, I haven't been cooking. It's been fast food drive thru all week. Breakfast this morning: glazed donut. Bad mommy!!! I'm still eating a lot of fruit, but I have got to eat better dinners!

Since I am still having a hard time handling/preparing food, it has been drive thru, or eating out for me basically the whole pregnancy. I know I shouldn't eat McDonald's so much but I can't stand to prepare my own meals - not even a micowave type dinner...I just can't stomach it! Dh doesn't cook so I have no alternative.

Here's what I ate yesterday: 1/2 chicken fajita roll-up & salad from Applebees, snack bag of peanut butter ritz bitz, bowl of Special K Red Berry cereal w/1% milk, and a bowl of moosetracks ice cream. If that's not bad - I don't know what is! My only serving of veggies was the lettuce in the salad!

Maybe in a couple more weeks the morning - "all day" - sickness will get better and I can start eating better!

My cravings have lessened (originally meat - no longer, and ongoing is fruit - and am still eating it, but not the severe cravings like before).

I am an avid cook, and love to cook from scratch, so normally we hardly ever go out to eat or order in... until Kay got PG!! Isn't it strange that we don't want to prepare food, or eat what we prepare, and I can rarely stomach leftovers... I wonder why this is? My nose is especially sensitive to any smells in the fridge!

I feel sort of ill while I'm preparing things, and often make it and then leave it. And later when I'm really hungry will go back to it, and when I do eat it, it tastes good to me... very strange.

Ok so I will fess up ... it doesn't matter what it is I WILL EAT IT!

I am eating all day long ... everything in sight!!!! I am so hungry all the time. I don't crave anything greasey like fries or anything and cannot get enough fruit. But carbs carbs and more carbs .. give them to me.

I also polished off a bag of Doritto's in two days ... but **** they were good ... and I could have done it in one day if my guilt did not set in.

And now with Easter around the corner ... mini eggs and cadbury eggs ... i don't stand a chance!

I was an eating machine up until about 3 weeks ago. I've had no food aversions at all - not even smell aversions. Probably because I can't smell anything half the time - allergies. Anyway, I feel SO full now after eating that I don't eat as often. I still am loving beefy things - spaghetti, hamburger anything, steaks, etc. Now ice water is starting to top the list. Tons of water and crunchy ice. I crunched ice during my last pg, also. Would stop at Sonic every morning and get just a big cup of ice. Sugary foods make me feel bad after I eat - kind of like a sugar-low so I'm not eating much sweets or soft drinks.

I wouldn't say I'm craving anything specific or weird, but some things definitely taste better than others: Pepsi ... I'm loving Pepsi. Butterfingers for a while. Anything "bready" - sourdough, pop-tarts, Eggos.

I know ... I know .... I'm not Miss Healthy Pregnancy.

But I'm happy! Indulge!
