Well after chewing up about 7 pacifiers in a 2-3 week time Kamryn is now without her precious binky. (This started last Friday) The first couple of naps and nights were a bit rough and teary, but finally she is okay with it.
The funny part about it is every night at bedtime I can hear her on the monitor telling Alexis and Morgan all about her binky. It goes like this:
K: Binky all gone. Bye-bye binky. Chew up (which sounds like chop). Put binky in trash (prounounced tash). Bye-bye binky, no more binky.
She then recounts the story for me in the morning. It is tooo sweet!
She was telling my parents about it yesterday afternoon. I'm sure Alexis and Morgan are like, yeah, yeah we get it, you chewed up your binky and it's in the trash now.
I wasn't going to keep buying new ones because she was chewing big holes in the nipple and I was worried about her choking so that was it.

Sam has suddenly decided he is obsessed with the neighbor's yard (my mom's neighbors, that is). He loves to run through their grass, he loves to pet their dogs and their cat, he even loves their dirt driveway. Thankfully, they are very nice people and don't mind at all.
Yesterday, I was watching him run through some tall grass in their yard and he tripped and fell. It reminded me of the opening credits of "Little House on the Prairie".

Weston is obsessed with tractors. He carries dh's magazines and "Truck Traders" with him everywhere. Everything with wheels is a "tactor". For about a week he carried around the "Cost of Production Report" put out by a local dairy accounting firm because it has pictures of cows and tractors on the cover.
