Updates anyone?

Well, tell us how your LO is doing!

As for us, DS has 2 more teeth in his pit of doom. LOL We also play the "dropsy" game....a lot. To the point that we leave things sit for a bit then hand them back. We call the kitty-cats "ti-ti" and he seems to understand that. He sits all by himself, can pull up from a laying position onto his butt, eating everything he can, he knows "no", does give random hugs, and still has a ton of hair! LOL He also goes to the doc tomorrow for his 2nd flu shot.

ETA: Well, after some confusion ds got his 2nd flu shot. Didn't really faze him too much as I was feeding him at the time. He has one top front tooth coming in and a 3rd bottom tooth.

"Dropsy" game is one of the favorites as well. Also "peekaboo" - can cover her head with the towel (or anything ) then peek out and wait for "peekaboo". Forever!!! Still has the same 2 teeth, no crawling (but a LOT of pulling herself up, not very successful tho). Bubbling and singing songs. Loves all the toys that make sounds (otherwise DD MAKES them to make SOME sound LOL). Doing much better at day care - chooses to drink her EBM from the sippy, like a "big girl". No flu shots for us, Heaven - we already got all the possible strains of flu this season!! LOL

D is so beautiful! What all is she eating now? Oh yes, the noisey toys. I am going insane with this one toy that now resides in the other room. I hate this annoying thing with a passion! LOL It's a vtech car/steering wheel combo.

DS is not crawling either. Which is ok with me as I enjoy leaving him on one spot and come back to him still there. I dread the day he becomes mobile. He also laughes at everything. I cracked my kneecap and he laughed so hard. It hurt but I didn't know if I should laugh or cry as D was laughing so much he had tears.

Enjoy the freedom of immobile child while it lasts!! I don't have that luxury: D's means of locomotion is rolling. Favorite destinations - pets, then the pets fountain, dog's raw hide, and something as appealing as forgotten on the floor camera, remote or keys..

D's eating everything. She doesn't eat a LOT, 4oz at the most at one time, but she is not too picky (knock-on-wood). I only haven't given her cow's milk (although she did try some foods with heavy cream in them) , fresh strawberries and citrus. Oh and nuts and honey. Basically no "obvious" offenders, all the rest she chows down with gusto. I do have to "condition" things a bit - like, I take the skin off of most of fruits and even grapes. She would usually have cereal or/and yogurt with fresh fruits in the morning, some meat or lentils with veggies, followed by apple or pear sauce for lunch. And veggies/pasta/fruit for dinner. A couple of snacks during the day - usually cheerios or crackers and fresh apple slices. What about Devin?

He likes french fries and pudding. He'd eat whatever I give him but I'm so afraid he's going to choke I don't give him much (Yes, I am paranoid). He had some cantalope and loved it but bit a piece off that was a touch too big and gagged but he spit it out. (I, of course, freaked.) I was eating an apple and let him takes some bites of that and he enjoyed it. He played with some spaghetti but coughed a lot so that ended that. I'd love to be able to relax and hand him something to eat with no problems.

Oh he'll grab whatever he can get his hands on. We have a tag on one cat and D plays with it so when I forget and my necklace shows, D plays with it, too. I guess he thinks Mom has a tag, too.

OMG Yug! This toy is sooooo annoying! If it was Mikes it'd be shoved where the sun doesn't shine.

Here's a link: http://www.vsmileshop.com/vtech-lear...er-driver.html

Avoid this toy at all costs! LOL It has this one song "Are you driving, are you driving, on the road?, on the road?"

I changed it to "Are you driving, are you driving, mom insane?, mom insane?" LMAO And wouldn't you know that it's his most favorite toy!

Hey guys!

Yug - Miss D is just beautiful! I am so jealous of your weather - I would love to be able to be outside like that!!! If you move to DC you are going to have quite the shocker!!

E still eats everything in sight! She has the same means of locomotion as D! She rolls everywhere - sometimes she wedges herself against something and 'asks' for assistance. She is scootching backwards and I don't think it will be long before she is crawling. She can rock back and forth but generally just falls down to her belly to roll.LOL!

Heaven - that toy IS annoying!! My nephew has it and I remember that song!!!

Heaven - I was also paranoid about chocking, exactly until I saw that D gaggs out whatever if it goes the wrong way. Of course I don't leave her unattended, but I figured - how else she'd learn?? Also, I found that BIGGER pieces are better for D, she just scrapes them with her bottoms, and when a larger piece comes off, she tries to gum on it, but then spits it out. Especially since she sees that there is more where it came from! LOL

DDVMM - yes, I'm gonna miss this weather. Not the summer tho. A couple of months when you just can't be outside other than VERY early in the morning. Not with an infant... nice and toasty 110+F D had to wait till September for her first walk! She does do a lil bit of backward scooting too, but she gets upset - I thing she honestly trying to move forward, but somehow the "goal" gets further...
