Hi! I can't wait to hear about your shower Jody!! I know I won't be getting one since it's my 4th and 4th boy at that. I still need a double stroller, extra car seat base and eventually the big car seats. I also want this foam small bed thing that you keep in the living room or where ever you are. It's small and portable and has an incline and is design to lay your baby on it when they are not in their bed. I would like to use it down on our main level so we he falls asleep, I can lay him in it instead and taking him up 2 flights of stairs. I need 4 oz bottles and then size 1 nipples for my 8oz bottles. I gave my 4 oz bottles to my niece. So I guess it's not alot. I did have to buy 0-6 months clothes because all of Ty's were summer and this baby needs winter.

My oldest son, Jesse, made it to sectionals in cross country which was today. We are so proud he made varsity his first year in trying out for cross country. Only the top 7 boys from each school got to run in the sectionals. Jesse was the 7th for his school. Unfortunately, no one checked his shoes before the race and his shoe lace came undone about a minute into the race so he didn't finish very well. But we are still proud he made it this far. This is my son with Aspergers Syndrome. He also started the season 2 weeks late. I think he'll do better next year. He's my super skinny kid. He does eat and he eats alot. He just has a super high metabolism and can't gain weight. He goes to the doctor every 3 months to get checked.
Anyway, here are a couple pics from the meet today. In the first pic, he is the one on the left front of the picture in maroon. He's the skinny one.

Kathi - what kind of car seat is it? We have extra bases that we don't need--they're silver graco snugride ones. I'd be willing to send it to you if you'd just reimburse for shipping. So awesome about your son making varsity.

Kathi - My big girl (with PDD NOS) is also super skinny. At 7 yo she only weighed 37 pounds. We recently had to start her on meds for anxiety and self-injury related to her brain injury and one of the side effects is weight gain - and she entered the world of puberty.

Well, at 11.5 yo, we finally entered the 70's!!! At her age, I was already 105!

Elana- That would be great! If you can let me know how much shipping is and I'll be glad to pay you for it. You can send me a facebook message with your address and I'll send you a check.

Jillian- Jesse will be 13 next month. He's 5'1" and weighs 71lbs with clothes on. Jesse is on meds for his ADHD. He's on Metadate. It has been wonderful for him. They say it suppresses the appetites so they have him on a very low dose. But if anything, he has an increased appetite and still no weight gain. I fought against medicating him for many many years but if at the age of 12, he still can't be trusted to cross the street or ride his bike safely, I thought for safety reasons alone, we needed to get him on the meds. We only started them last year. He is a totally different child. His anxiety's before the meds were the fact he wanted to hang upside from the ceiling. He basically had uncontrolled urges that he couldn't sedate. Now he says he feels normal and can focus a lot better. It's just in the evening when the meds wear off, we try to tell him to realize that his meds are worn off and he needs to be more aware of his impulses. If he weighed more, they would put him on extended release. My niece entered puberty at 10/11 too. She is severely handicapped and on diapers. It's just not fair. I wish they could give her something to stop them.
