So yesterday, I drop my mom off at the airport! Then I go to my RE's office (cause it is near the airport) hoping the RE or my fav nurse can come out & see the babies. Well they both were off yesterday. So I head to DH's work, so he can show off the babies (it is noon so we feed them there). I had a 1pm OB appt, I got there at 1:15 & NEEDED to pump. So I go in their breakroom & pump. I finally get out of there at 3pm!!! (It is feeding time again) so I go home. I got NO errands completed, I feel like I wasted the day (we live an hr from town, so when we are in town, we try to complete as much as possible). I get home with hungry babies as we are an hr late on the schedule, the UPS man rang the doorbell at some point during the day & it stuck on & won't turn off. One of the bottles leaked all over my mini cooler! (wasted breast milk- makes me mad). I feed the babies & then change them- there is only one wipe left in the box! The diaper genie is full! Then the kids screamed at the top of their lungs for about an hour & 1/2 as I am trying to pump! During this time my telephone rings 3 times, I can't get it but they are people I needed to talk to. Finally I take my shoe & beat the heck out of the doorbell that has been driving me CRAZY!!! Finally the babies are quiet & DH walks in the door & asks how was your day? Oh yes & I have a cold & my allergies are kicking up. I am sooo tired.. I really hope this duo starts sleeping more than in 3 hr stretchs..

All I can say is, "welcome to motherhood!"

I actually think the first (and you've got two!) baby is harder because your lifestyle changes soooo much. Making "multiple stops" when you're running errands is nearly impossible when they are little. At least, for me it was.

OMGoodness you made me laugh. Last weekend I was pouring my freshly pumped milk into a freezer bag and the bag fell over and my milk spilt all over my kitchen counter. I screamed and DH came in. I started to tear up and he told me " don't cry over spilt milk". Unless you pump the heck out of your boobs no one understands how painful it is to lose milk!

Yeah, the person that coined the phrase don't cry over spilt milk didn't have herself hooked up to a breastpump. I'd cry.
