My clothes don't fit. I think it's too soon for me to be gaining inches, as I am only 15w. I was a bit rounder to begin with, to tell the truth.
Maternity clothes are too big. I have some leftover from last time, and they're almost brand-new (some weren't ever worn), but I just don't want to wear them because they are baggy... and most of them are for cooler weather than this, anyway.
So what are you ladies doing with this in-between time? I go back to work next week and my closet is full of too-small and too-big but very little that's "just right." I feel like Goldilocks!

I actually started wearing maternity full time at 15 weeks. Nothing else fit anymore, and although the maternity clothes were still a little big, I didn't want to go out and buy anything else. I am fortunate that I wear scrubs at work, so work clothes wasnt' an issue. I did get by in a couple pair of drawstring pants for a long time before making the transition.

I have been wearing maternity pants since about 4 weeks ago (I am 19w5d today). I am also a bit on the fluffy side to start with, and so far has barely gained anything, but the pants do not button up, I guess I have "rearranged" a bit inside
As for the tops, today is the first day I am wearing one. I am just tired of constantly pulling my shirts down, does not look too professional. There are a few that are too baggy, but some of the knits fit OK, sort off. Also the shirts that have ties in the back, look decent under the white coat. At this point I am going more for comfort, than fit.
I am refusing to buy anything short sleeve though, the weather will change soon enough, and indoors it really does not matter as much.Mom to three:

I am huge and full....so not a problem for me!
I would say wear your baggy maternity clothes if you want. No sense in buying a ton of stuff that won't fit in a few weeks. Or try and wear A-line dresses....VERY proud mommy to ALL my children:

Wear what is comfortable!
Right now I have a mix of maternity and regular clothes. Most of my regular clothes don't fit me, but I love wearing my husband's t-shirts. I found some pants that are meant for 0-6 months of maternity and I love them. (I am 17wks3dys)

Pug Girl, that's the pants that I have, the "real waist" ones. Totally agree with you, the best thing since sliced bread (spaeking about clothes, of course)

At 16w, I still do both maternity and regular. Although I feel like I'm not completely showing yet, everything on my body has moved itself to parts north and south, in addition to a little in the middle.
The best thing I've bought is a Bella band (I got mine at motherhood maternity its like $15)- I can wear it with the non-stuff that will no longer button, shirts that are now too short and still too large maternity.

i'm 20 wks - i wear scrubs at work, but on days off i've been wearing maternity gap jeans since about 8 wks! despite the round belly, i feel like the true maternity shirts still look so big, so i bought a few inexpensive non-maternity shirts one size up - i figure i can wear these shirts after the baby's born while i'm trying to lose baby weight! you can really find a lot in the non-maternity stores, since a lot of shirts right now are long and baby-doll/empire waist cut - lily

I was in between for a few weeks, but decided to just make the jump to maternity clothes full time. And boy are they comfy!!! I have a couple of regular shirts I still wear, but otherwise it's all maternity. I got some great maternity tees from JC Penny on clearance for about $4 and they're my favorite. Real stretchy and plenty of room in the belly!

Great thread. I'm 18 and a half weeks and I LOVE the belly band. I never had one with my first pregnancy but I'm using it a ton this time. I have 2 pairs of maternity pants that I love to wear too. I just love buying maternity clothes. It's the only time I like to shop for myself so I'm stocking up even though this will likely be our last pregnancy (usually I hate shopping for myself because I do not love my body). I like the way maternity clothes make me look more pregnant and not just fat.
