    Smile Cerclage discussion is over

So, we are finally at the end of this conversation. Thursday is the day!!! I am scared and second guessing myself a bit. But we are getting it done. The doc and us are on the same page that we most likely do not need it. But all of us have this thought that if something is going to start changing there would be regret that we did not do it now (considering our loss). So... we are doing it... I'll have to take it easy until Monday, but then I can resume activity, with just minor restrictions (most of which I have sort been doing anyways since we found out, ms. paranoid here). Then it is an alternating u/s and manual exams every week until 24 weeks (so u/s every other week).

Anyways, that's my update for now

Good luck on Thurs! FWIW, I think you're making the right decision. Better to have it in place now than need to have an emergency one later. I had a cerclage with my fist pg and am convinced it saved my dd.

Let us know how it goes when you can!

    Best wishes,

Good luck Hedgehog and it must be a relief to have the decision made at least. Better a planned situation to prevent problems right? I hope it all goes smoothly and you can continue to take it easy!

    Thank you all

I am finally home. The OR was behind schedule, and the spinal took a while to wear off. So I am glad to be finally on my own couch
