Appt Update

Hey there -

Well after my worried about going overdue post I thought I would update from my appt today. Im trying to not focus so much on worrying about being overdue. I think Im right on schedule. So, maybe I'll just be on time and not to far over. My cervix today was dilated 2cm and Im still 70% effaced so basically some forward progression. Before my exam my ob said he would expect a second timer to be around 2cm and 80%ish around this time, so Im right where he was expecting. He checked the fluid around the baby and said that was good, not low and the baby was doing his breathing exercises which my ob said is a good thing to see. Anyway, thats my update for now, I go back in 1 week at 38w4d. Its really fun to see this board getting warmed up and its not even Jan yet!!!!

Sounds like you're progressing just fine, Carrie! I was not dilated at all, but 50% effaced at my 38 week check. Glad to hear everything is going well!

At my 37w5d appt, I was 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced and this is my 2nd pregnancy. You are definitely right on track!

Forward progress With my last dd, my 2nd time around, I was 1-2cm and 70% at 37wks, so that sounds about right to me
