Telling Jokes.....

Hi, is anyone's little one telling jokes yet or attempting to tell them?

It is Jacob's latest thing - and he has us in stitches. He hasn't quite got it down yet - and the context is all wrong - we laugh so hard at how mixed up it all is - that he thinks his 'jokes' are hilarious.

One of my favorites:
He knows the old standard - why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side
so I spiced it up a little
Why did the bubble gum cross the road? - Because it was stuck to the chicken's foot

so, Jacob now converted it to - and tells it 100x daily
Why did the chicken cross the road? - Because it had bubble gum stuck to its foot!!!!!

There are tons more - just like this - it is so cute.

Too funny! Landon heard a "knock knock" joke about a year ago, and he's been attempting them since then. His favorite is, "Knock knock" "Who's there?" "Cargo." "Cargo who?" "Car go beep beep!"

But he also makes them up and mixes a few of them together to make something totally crazy. And then they get crazier the more people laugh at him. It's hilarious!!

Yep - that's exactly what happens here. They think they are so funny - and you can't help but laugh.

Doing ok...still staying in a hotel room! Just waiting, waiting.

Hope Jacob liked the joke! Landon gets so silly with his. He started up again last night, and then he told one that actually sounded right. And when I laughed, he said, "Did that one make sense Mommy?" Which just made me laugh harder!
