Christmas Anyone?

Anyone else have a crazy about Christmas child already? Because the Germans obviously don't celebrate Thanksgiving, the deorations and everything are already going up. I pulled out the Christmas books and dvd's yesterday....we have already read about 5 of them and watched Elmos Christmas Countdown (which I love).

Hurry Christmas, don't be late!

Yes, we started decorating this weekend. Of course they want it all to happen instantly but we should be finished by the end of the week.

Wow, I love all this early decorating! We'll probably decorate right after Thanksgiving though Melo has already started talking about it. She really wants a little Christmas tree in her room.

I'm so bad. I don't decorate until really close to Christmas. I'm sure as the girls get older, we'll do it earlier.

YES! Jaxon is super excited. The Target catalogue came this weekend and Jaxon sat down with it and started circling everything! He was saying " Look what Santa is bringing me!!" LOL

I tried to explain that he had to pick out a FEW things for Santa to bring and he wasn't getting everything he circled. Seriously, the kid thinks he's getting the whole catalogue. It's really cute!

So funny! Sunday morning Timmy and his dad sat down at the breakfast bar to eat and T had the Target ad and DH had the paper. They were exactly like one another -- reading while eating! It was so cute.

As for the original question - I CANNOT BELIEVE IT'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS. Also, all our kiddos will be joining Rianna being 4!!! WOW

Landon is super excited about Christmas...he has been watching Polar Express and Santa Claus 3 (he likes Jack Frost!) for like 3 weeks now. He also decided that since Santa Claus watches you all the time, that he can also hear you....so when he sees a toy he wants, he says, "Santa Claus, can I please have that for Christmas?" It's too funny. I, too, keep telling him that he needs to only ask for a couple things and that we will give him gifts too. It's gonna be funny when we have his pics made with Santa and Landon rattles off 50 toys he wants!

I haven't started decorating yet, but I do have most of my shopping done already! It's questionable whether or not DH will get his usual Christmas bonus, so we have been buying little bits at a time for the past 2 or 3 months and putting things up for Christmas...you have no idea how hard it is not to give them their stuff NOW!

Olivia keeps asking about it, mainly because she knows her birthday is "after Christmas"!
She is SO excited about celebrating her birthday at school and having a party w/a bounce house too. Only thing, I've never promised a bounce house! We drive by this place that has them all the time and she says "dats the one I want for my birthday party". I'm sure it's really $$$, so not sure what we'll do! Maybe just buy one. She's talked about this for months.

Good idea to get out the Christmas DVD's. I may do that. Though this time of year makes me homesick too and we're staying put this year.

That Target ad is at our house too and all wrinkled and tattered and almost everything is circled in ours too.
