What do you eat on an average day?
Breakfast: Small glass of apple juice & either a bowl of Basic 4 cereal - or today was a hard boiled egg & FF yogurt.
Lunch: 2-3 slices of pizza or a ham & cheese sandwich on 15 grain bread w/ an orange & cottage cheese
Dinner: Spaghetti w/ meatsauce & spinach salad; grill out burgers or hot dogs & have oven cooked french fries. I drink skim milk w/ dinner. Sometimes I'll try to make a better dinner like stir fry or something. I think I'm going to start cooking in the crock pot more when it gets cooler.
Snacks: banana, FF yogurt, granola bars, snack size kettle corn popcorn (94% FF) & of course, I drink water all day!!!
I've now banned dessert, cookies & nab crackers from our house!!!
Just curious to see what everyone was eating these days!
:-) Jen

LOL!
Bfast: nothing
Lunch: celery sticks, carrot sticks, candy bar, sometimes leftovers.
Supper: meal from scratch-spaghetti, casseroles, pork chops, baked chix breast, mac n cheese, veggie sides and fruit.
Snack: love Easy Fries, like them with my computer time...after the kids are in bed.
I am losing weight right now and not sure why, who knew that getting pregnant would have that effect? I'm down 20 lbs from my pre preg weight.~Robin~

Breakfast: either a bowl of oatmeal & glass of oj or an oatmeal breakfast square & glass of oj - still eating oatmeal to help with supply
Lunch: salad, baked potato, sandwich, Healthy Choice frozen entree or leftovers
Dinner: this varies a lot, but I try to stick to serving a protein, a starch & a veggie. Could be a chicken breast, steak or pork chop with a salad & noodle dish, potato or rice; nachos; sandwich & salad;spaghetti or lasagna w/salad & bread, some sort of casserole, etc. I try to give us a well balanced meal at dinner. I'm also weird about food colors. For example, I try not to serve stuff that's similar in color like a chicken breast, corn and mac & cheese. Unfortunately, my dh loves that combo.
Snacks: yogurt, popcorn, fruit - I've quit eating chips & chocolate for snacks & just have them a couple of times a week, if that.

I'm with you Kasey...I eat a whole wheat bagel every morning with a Diet Coke. Usually a deli meat sandwich for lunch, and almost never any dinner...
I guess that will have to change when Rayne starts eating solid food!me (41) dh (49)

Well Claire, at least you TRY. Most of the time, I eat horribly unhealthy treats just because I can and because I bought tons of them while shopping for healthy stuff. Last week, I devoured a whole thing of Oreos just because they were on the counter...took me 4 days I think.
No wonder I don't lose weight! I have got to curb this sweet tooth of mine!
Other than the major sweet tooth, I do try to eat semi-healthy. So far today, I had a small bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats for breakfast, and a can of Cream of Potato soup for lunch. I'm thinking steak fajitas for dinner though!

It took you 4 days to eat a pack of OREOS??? Good lord, I'd have them polished off by noon.
And I forgot to add...when I do eat bfast, I have to have Dr Pepper with it.

Too much!
Breakfast: Most days a bowl of cereal with blueberries, one day on the weekend I will have an omlet and maybe waffles, bagel or pancakes the other day.
Lunch: salad with some sort of meat and cheese, or left overs.
Dinner: Varries greatly, we eat alot of chicken, also pasta and ribs are fairly frequent lately. Really need to increase the amount of veggies with dinner.
Snacks: Cheese and crackers, cookies, fruit.
I need to cut out all of the little extras as I hold onto extra weight like it is my lifesaver, and REALLY need to cut out eating after 8pm or so.

Breakfast - most of the time, nothing - I drink water and occasionally hot chocolate or vanilla hazelnut coffee from Einstein's Bagel. Other times, oatmeal. My favorite is grits, eggs, and biscuits though!
Lunch - This varies. DH packs my lunch or I go out to eat. When he packs, I get a salad or a turkey sandwich. When I pack, I get a lean cuisine or soup. If I go out, who knows? I try to be healthy, but I will splurge.
Dinner - We try to eat a lean meat (chicken, pork, or fish) with a veggie or two, and sometimes a starch (potatoes or rice). DH is the cook here, so beggars can't be choosey.Janis (41), DH (50)
