OMG, I must be insane. I'm thinking I want another one...

...yep, another baby. OMG, I'm freakin' nuts.

We still have two that are frozen. We were going to do a mercy transfer - that is, transfer out of normal cycle, and if it's meant to be, it's meant to be. BUT, now I'm thinking I want to proceed with the full FET - just give them the best shot possible.

DH will say 100% positively no way. In fact, when both kids are acting up, he says, "Oh, let's have another." And you all know that pregnancy and I don't mix.

But oh how I'd love to have another one...

By the way...I think a third for you would be marvelous! You go, Girl!

I wanted a 3rd and dh didn't. I just had an overwhelming need for one more child and he felt complete. Very tough situation to be in. What finally got to him was this. I had said, "in 10 years you'll never regret having a child. However in 10 years I may regret not having a child and that regret may turn into resentment towards you. So in 10 years only you may be happy or in 10 years we BOTH can be happy." He thought it through and we had our 3rd (and last) baby and wow, he is sooo in love! He says almost every day that he can't believe he didn't want another child at first and how now our family is truly complete. We both are in a wonderful place and life is good!

GL!!!

Whew! Glad I wasn't the only one thinking of having another. DH and I have decided to have another but we want to get the girls to their first birthday and then its back to the RE we go. We have 3 frozen, my only worry would be having another set of twins. This pregnancy really put something on my body. My hips STILL hurt. But then again I know my chances increase with two embies instead of one. Decisions, decisions. I do know that I want another one before my girls turn 2 yrs old.

Brooke - the mercy transfer! This is when say you ovulate on day 14. That would mean it would be like day 20 when the embies started to implant. FET transfer out of cycle would essentially mean transferring the embies when it would NOT be favorable for them to implant. For example, transferring blasts on day 13 of the cycle before the lining is ready to receive them. So it's not beyond the realm of possibility, but not likely that a pregnancy would result.

DH doesn't want to donate them - either to science or to an adopting couple. He doesn't want to destroy them. AND he doesn't want to try for another baby. Ummmm. Yeah. Those are ALL of the options.

I also still have a few frozen from my very first cycle when I was a single woman. I wanted to donate them to a lovely couple. He said absolutely not. He didn't want Ben to have a 1/2 sister or brother that he didn't know about.

WOW I want to transfer them and see what happens. AND...I found out that there are THREE frozen, not two!!! And they froze those on day 3. I think I would ask that they thaw them and see if they develop into blasts. My RE's FET rate isn't that great. Like 25-30%. So I mean, it still won't be a sure thing! Most likely, nothing would happen!

....but what if it did?

DH is going to think I'm nuts.
