Brooke - the mercy transfer! This is when say you ovulate on day 14. That would mean it would be like day 20 when the embies started to implant. FET transfer out of cycle would essentially mean transferring the embies when it would NOT be favorable for them to implant. For example, transferring blasts on day 13 of the cycle before the lining is ready to receive them. So it's not beyond the realm of possibility, but not likely that a pregnancy would result.
DH doesn't want to donate them - either to science or to an adopting couple. He doesn't want to destroy them. AND he doesn't want to try for another baby. Ummmm. Yeah. Those are ALL of the options.
I also still have a few frozen from my very first cycle when I was a single woman. I wanted to donate them to a lovely couple. He said absolutely not.

He didn't want Ben to have a 1/2 sister or brother that he didn't know about.
WOW I want to transfer them and see what happens. AND...I found out that there are THREE frozen, not two!!! And they froze those on day 3. I think I would ask that they thaw them and see if they develop into blasts. My RE's FET rate isn't that great. Like 25-30%. So I mean, it still won't be a sure thing! Most likely, nothing would happen!
....but what if it did?
DH is going to think I'm nuts.
