What's everyone getting their kiddos for Christmas & birthdays? I have a few little things for Claire, but not a "big" item yet. I was considering a leap pad, but I really don't think she's ready yet. Needing ideas!
Hard to believe our kiddos are almost 3! Where has the time gone?

Hey Kell! Feel like you've been gone for awhile? Good to hear from you..
Uggh... its so hard to come up with new ideas for them for both xmas/bday. We are getting Evan a bike for his bday along with some small things. Xmas, is just some new toys/activities. I try REALLY hard to come up with different ideas than the same old stuff we have around the house already... It even gets harder for ideas for the 2nd kid, since we have so much already!
I thought about the Leapster for Evan but I think we'll do that next year.. He will get this stuff this year for both events from us, grandparents, aunts/uncles:
1) a few board games
2) a few new dvds
3) viewmaster (like the old school ones we had as kids)
4) fisher price cash register
5) some puzzles
6) Disney on Ice tickets (he is all about Mickey mouse right now and they are coming here the week after his bday)
7) High Five Magazine (its the younger version of Highlights magazine)
8) Legos (the fat ones)

Hey Juls----I've been around....mostly lurking though!
Claire is getting a bunch of similar small things...games, puzzles, some art type stuff. I was thinking maybe of getting some type of small indoor trampoline? She is such a high energy child.....she seriously runs around in circles and jumps around like a frog! Hope Evan likes the bike.....we got one on a garage sale this past year, so we will probably break it out in the spring.
I agree, it is so hard to find something to give the second child! Especially since we have two girls. We are in need of nothing. Even the clothes are hitting Olivia at the right seasons, so she doesn't even need any clothes!Me (37) dh (37)

Hey girls! We bought Peyton and Brinley a walk-in kitchen for Christmas. It is for both of them. I so agree it is tougher to find things for the second kiddo. We also bought some Sing-a-ma-jigs for their stockings and I bought some puzzles on clearance at Target over the summer. I am not sure what else to get. The kitchen is the big gift.
The birthday is another beast! I am thinking about a dollhouse. Not sure though.

I know it is after Christmas- but we got Ryan a piggy bank and he LOVES it. We found one on-line that is a 2 ft dinosaur that you feed coins and can see travel down it's tummy to its stomach. Just an idea for next b-day...... since we are all planning one this month!!!!
