Diapers at night

Hi Girls!

I haven't posted lately, but I lurk around... I was wondering what you all are doing for overnight diapers? Alex has been wearing size 5 Pampers during the day and size 5 Huggies Overnights for a very long time. Lately he's been peeing out of the Overnights. I switched to some size 6 Pampers I had and they are working, but I wondered what other options there are. I can't find size 6 Overnights.

Thanks!

Sorry, can't help. Teddy is in 5 Luvs and has been for sometime. He very rarely has spillage, except for the days he drinks a lot of juice. I usually give him water and he tends to drink a lot of juice when he gets it. I will say though that his diapers are weighing in at about 5 lbs...lol...in the morning. I'm sure the larger diapers are just around the corner for us. *sigh*

We just had the exact same problem! I don't know why the diaper companies don't make size 6 in overnights. I tried the nighttime pullups and they were no better since the have no side coverage to look more like underwear. I even tried double diapering her and that didn't work! Here is what we did that finally solved our problem. DD was getting about 8-10 oz of milk before bedtime. I started giving her half at dinnertime and the rest before bed. It must give her enough time to pee out some of the extra fluid because since I started this she hasn't had the peeing out problem on the size 5s anymore. I would try changing the intake of the liquids before bedtime if possible and see if that works.

Someone told me check WalMart for the size 6 overnights...I will try to do that today.

I was wondering about the pullups, so it is good to know they don't work for that.

OMG! Does Huggies really make size 6 Overnights? I can only find 4s or 5s in the stores near me. Thanks for the info! I am off to do some research of where to find them!

I have been doing cloth diapers off and on. This is what I have been wanting to buy, I just haven't had the money for it yet. http://greenmountaindiapers.com/covers.htm#aristocrat My understanding is that it is the best for overnight. So, what I have been thinking about is sticking with the huggie overnight and put the wool cover over it if he starts to soak through the overnight.

I really wish I had gone cloth a long time ago, but maybe if we get #2, we will cloth.

I go to Wal Mart and buy Huggies size 6 Overnights and they have NEVER leaked out. I put it on right before he lays down and he sleeps 12 hours. They work well.
