Hi,
I had a transfer of one hatching blastocyst on 4/1 and received a hcg trigger shot right after the transfer. So today is my 5dp5dt. I know I shouldn't be doing HPT right now as it is still early and the HCG is still in my system. But I couldn't hold off to got one just now and I got a quite clear positive. I know it takes time for HCG to be out of our system. But I am not sure how many units of the trigger shot I received...I am thinking if it's 5000units then it's about time it should be out of my system. But if it's 10000units then the positive is definitely all from HCG remaining in my body. Does anyone know usual number of units of HCG trigger shot given after transfer? (Sighhhh 2ww is driving nuts : /)
Thanks much!!!

Hey abababy,
They usually say it takes 14 days for the trigger to leave your system, but I have seen many cases of people "testing out" the trigger and noticing it is gone by day 10. I vote for POAS again tomorrow
FX for you! Good luck!

Thanks for your respond!! I just did another PAOS today using the same brand of HPT as yesterday and got a positive with a darker line. We got a hatching blast transferred so maybe it implanted bit early? I am sooooo nervous right now. My first beta will in 2 days on Monday....I am having my fingers crossed!!!

Hi! Couldn't help but notice you are from NY. What clinic are you using if you dont mind me asking? The reason I ask is because I have been going to New Hope Fertility and they too transferred a hatching blast on day 5 and gave me an HCG shot right after! My ET was on 04/07/12 and they want to me to come back tomorrow 04/14/12, 7dp5dt for my first beta. Like you, I dont know how much they gave me in the shot and I have also tested positive on the HPT and am worried it may just be the shot. Your situation is so similar to mine that I hope I am as lucky as you are!! Good luck on your follow up beta and may your numbers continue to double
