I was looking into AFCC for our next IVF. How are they as a clinic? Do they have a waiting list? We are just starting to look as FET was in Oct.-BFN, of course, but starting to look around at other clinics. Thanks.

So far I have liked them very much. Thay have worked really well with my travel schedule(live in Nashville, traveling to Gurnee) and I could have IVFed in November if I had been ready, but we are doing SR so we needed a little time to get the money borrowed and such. On my first appointment we had over an hour long consult with Dr Sherbahn, who was very optimistic about our chances. He's very buisness-like, but his nurses are very sweet and helpful. I was also able to get in a few tests to qualify for the SR at that time, unexpectantly-which saved me a trip up there. The meds were ordered and at my door last month, so I don't have to worry about them coming in time. I have my baseline appointment on Dec 1, so I'll know a little more in a few weeks...do you have an appointment with them?

NO appts yet. I called and they said to call 2-3 months before wanting to start cycle to get initial appt.,etc. So since it may take us a year or more to save. I am hopeing that I can call in June and start in Sept or Oct., cut that all depends on money since need alot since thinking we are going to try and get in the shared risk or 100% guarentee program. From my current records, it looks like we should qualify unless there is more than what is posted on the website. Keep me informed. I think we are really leaning toward them since closest to us with shared risk. Thank! Jenny

Jenny- Everything is correct on the webpage. I had to do a lining and antral follie check, estradiol, PAP, hysteroscopy and a day 3 bw(which I had to ship the blood, they wanted to run the test themselves) and a bunch of other bw. DH had to do bw and then we sent them his last 5 sperm analysis. Nothing that wasn't mentioned online. I'll keep in touch and let you know how things are going!
