I have been following this board for years so I thought it would make sense to share here **PREGNANCY MENTION**At 29 weeks 3 days, I woke up this morning to trickling down my leg while I was asleep so I woke up and went to the restroom and tried to get back to sleep. Same thing happened again. Got up restroom again. Fell back to sleep. Was carrying my daughter and felt a gush, went back to bed. Another gush at 8 am so I called the OB and went to Labor and Delivery. They swabbed me and my bag of waters ruptured (pPROM). So I got to the hospital at 8 am, transported to a different hospital at 12 noon since the NICU and long-term stay wouldn't work at previous hospital. I am checked in here now and am in my antepartum room that I will be in until I deliver. The goal is for me to stay at the hospital on semi-bedrest until 34 weeks (July 14) and then deliver. Baby Lincoln would stay in the NICU for 4-6 weeks depending on how well he's doing. I will not be leaving this hospital pregnant. They made that very clear. So my job is to keep cooking this big boy and get him ready.

Esco - I am so sorry! Your journey has been long and tiring. Rest for a while. Enjoy your baby girl. There may be a bigger plan out there for you and your family.

Has!! How scary! I am so sorry this happened, but it sounds like they are taking great care of you. You've got this! 34 weeks will be here before you know it, and your little guy will do great. Did they give you steroids for his lungs? I used to be an l&d nurse. Make sure people are smuggling you in some decent food, and try not to go stir crazy! Keep us posted!

The food here is amazing. So no problem there. I saw my kids today so that lifted my spirits. It's just hard not being able to be with them. I just have so many questions about why this happened. I got steroids, antibiotics and magnesium.
