Thanks heather It was okay--hoenstly I was so anxious that I forgot to answer the ONE question i wanted to ask-- WHAT ARE MY ODDS??? BUt i doubt he would tell me that until the one day work up. HE was very nice and personable...he said he would change labs no matter what I did with IVF- with I am inclined to agree after my last 2 low fert reports. He also said I def neede to get another HSG done since I have had a c section since my last one....I am not really sure why this matters??? I mean , isnt that to see if your tubes are blocked? and does that even matter if I am doing IVF? I think it can check uterine scaring--but i dont know. he also wanted to do a few more tests on my hubbie- which I like.
Last round was traumatic for a few reasons and i am just maybe okay with my family as is! though DH would like to try again...he thinks 3 COlorado jaunts sound great. hmmmm./

Was this with Dr. G? I really liked him. He was a bit squirrelly about my odds ... I got odds of not getting any chromosomally normal embryos and odds of something else but as for OVERALL odds of a live birth / cycle, I didn't get a sense of that (and that is the key question right?) With my other consults the "odds" question came up and was resolved more quickly -- although it's way more cut and dried when you are talking about donor egg.

I admire your resolve though in being open to trying again with your own eggs at CCRM. Ultimately I was just too fearful (despite my RE in FL and CCRM telling me I should try one more time with OE IVF) to try a third time; I just can't take a repeat of what happened to me in February.

Tense, I think you are right about the second HSG being to look for uterine scarring, or a polyp or something that could interfere with implantation. That makes sense. When do you do the workup?
