    Bella - 8A is fantastic.

I just went to my doctor for a follow up.
We had 8 eggs, 6 matured, 5 fertilized.
I got to find out the ratings and they look good.
I have fluid in my ovaries....explains the bloat.
They are thinking I may need to skip a month before starting again.
But I am going in after my next bleed for blood and sono.
    Time will tell.

My lab at the place is closed in August so I don't want to wait for July as we might not ET before the 8/19 closure.
    More fun to deal with.

Squid: 11 is awesome!! I had read somewhere that if more than half fertilize that's good, but I've seen higher numbers than that through everyone's posts. Sorry you're having a bad day too. Hang in there!

Bella: 8a is great, you've got a fighter in you! Go LETC!!! My DH is even routing for you. He laughed when I first got on here, but now he's glad I have the kind of support that he has no clue how to give. Now he's like, "did the LETC make it to implantation?"

MCJ: Sorry to hear about all the pain. Of course I read your post right as I was walking into my appointment so my doctor got bombarded with questions like, "so the anethesia makes it so I don't feel anything right?" LOL

Shape: When do you get your beta test in the office?

All: What does EOE and AFM stand for? I assume they are both for everyone in the group?

EOE/AFM: (I think) Well, the good news is that I now how 15 follies (went from 7 to 10 to 15). The bad news is that my E2 only went from 948 to 1415. With all those new follies, even if they are small, I should have at least doubled, right? She said the numbers were good but not by my calculations. Anyway, they increased my Follistim again, this time to 375, and said ER would now either be Sunday or Monday. FX that my E2 goes up fast, I'm running out of unbruised areas to inject! Maybe I should lay off all the Powerade Zero... LOL

Bella: LETC 8A!!! I know it can...I know it can... I'm praying for ya'll

Finally: I'm excited to hear your update too!

    Msmelremo: Good luck!

Strojan: EOE= everyone else and AFM= as for me. I thought someone's initials were AFM!! Natural blonde! Keep going up E2!

EOE: I feel so behind! A day of heavy drugs will do that to you.

AFM: I went in today b/c of my pelvic pain. Slight inflammation in ovaries and hope to avoid full on OHSS. I will have it slightly, but they will still do ET as long as I stay the same. The cysts produce progesterone, so that is also good for implantation. All 12 eggs were mature. 9 fertilized. Now we wait to see them divide and divide! We will get another report on Saturday.

Ladies, I have a quick question for you all. I can call and ask the nurses tomorrow but I figured you all would know the answer anyway. I'm starting stims Saturday but I'll be at work when I'm due for my shot. I'll be on 300 follistim and 75 menopur. They showed me how to mix them so my question is, Can I premix the two in the morning so I can just take on shot with me instead of a bunch of meds?

Good luck to everyone! I have my fingers crossed for all of you!

McJ- 9 is great! I'm glad you went to get checked! I hope you start feeling better soon!

Tiffany- I'm glad you decided to post You can premix your meds as long as you use it that day. Just don't keep them in direct sunlight or in your hot car. Otherwise you will be fine I'm adding you to our chart!

@Cathy & Dallas- How are you guys doing? I hope that your DH have been really supportive and that you are in a happier place now. IVF is very tough emotionally for everyone and it is *more* than OK to have a few down days. (Funny story- I was not moody at all with the fresh IVF last month other than physically being ill, but have been irritable the last few days with the estrogen pills alone. Normally, I am pretty emotionally calm even if I PMS a little. I snapped at my husband last night because the outside sensor light stopped working, despite him replacing the floodlight bulbs (so it's apparently broken). I couldn't see to throw out my car trash in our outside trash can- so I took it out on him...SO not how I normally act- Poor guy!)

@Bella & Finally- Yay for being PUPO! I am convinced the LETC and his/her beta twin will be the continuation of more BFP!

@drsquid- your ER, maturity, and fertilization stats were impressive- your RE was right to be happy! Normally, about 80% of eggs retrieved are mature, and 50-70% of those fertilize. You are at 92.3% mature and 91.7% fertilization rate. Talk about something to brag about!!!

@ msmel- Hope your ER went well and your mature/fert stats will be great!

@MCJ- hope you are feeling better from the ER! Sounds like you had a really rough time..did your doctor provide any helpful tips or explanation why? Eager to hear your fertilzation report!
(I had a reaction to the ER IV meds...they *burned*- felt like he put bleach in the solution. He muttered something about "sensitive veins" before I went under. I was surprised that I had no bruising or inflammation at the IV site when I woke up... I will count my blessings where I can, as many of the women from the May cycle group had really bad IV site bruising in their hands.)

@SCtrojan- I think your E2 levels are right on track with it only being Thursday and ER is not until Sun or Mon. If your E2 levels get ~4000-5000 at time of ER, many REs will not allow you to do ET because of possible OHSS. (Mine jumped really quickly near the end) Assuming the same for you since we have similar doses of meds- and with the increase in your Follistism to 375, you should be coasting into great mature follies very soon!!! You are in the home stretch!

@Christine Ann- Hope your fluid is going down soon! Bloat is not fun Are you having to get up a couple times in the night to pee as a result? My RE said that was very important to do- even though it's a hassle/disturbs our sleep- to help get rid of the fluid as quickly as possible.

@sdbarton- Welcome!!! I have found this forum is such a great resource and support system- hope it is the same for you.

@Heart & Shape- Chin up!!! As you both said- it is still early and it may depend on what HPT you are using. My motto is always "try, try, and try again." And then, try something different and "try, try, try again". I know first hand of women being BFN at your timepoints and still being BFP a few days later. Sticky vibes to you both!!!

    ***PREG Mention***
@Clairity- SOOOOOO happy for you! May your betas continue to double!
    ***PREG end***

AFM- Work has been extremely busy with 10 hour days this week, plus an hour commute each way in Atlanta traffic, so I am mentally and physically exhausted. I need this weekend just to be able to catch up on sleep...plus a ton of laundry, mail, and wedding thank you notes. Tomorrow is a Scan & Stab... (ultrasound & bloodwork). I hope my ovaries are sleeping nicely, my E2 is high, and I get the OK to begin the Crinone progesterone suppositories tomorrow. If so, it's just 5 quick days of that and our ET is a week from today on Thursday, 6/21. I have not been this impatient for a day to arrive since I was a little kid waiting for Christmas.

My one complaint is how "squishy" I feel after almost 2 months of pumping my body full of fertility hormones. Plus, I had major dual foot surgery last November, so I have just not physically gotten back in shape from that as well. I've always been fairly active prior to the foot surgery- not marathons or a gym rat- but active. But I have become a couch potato for the last 8 months and it does not feel good. It makes me cringe a little thinking of where I will be in another year if we get a BFP. I suddenly feel OLD- my "thing" has always been that I look about ~5-8 years younger than my age and I was kinda proud of it. Now, I have teenage zits and a squishy, soft body that does not look good in the mid-section in fitted tanks and none of my underwear fits- I had to go up a size. Nothing make you feel pudgy than having to go up a size in underwear!!! I struggle every day of what I can wear that I feel pretty in. I am cranky too becaue my skin has suddenly broken out like a teenager all along my jawline- and I have always had clear skin- even as a teenager. I go to bed with my DH trying to find a "safe place" to kiss me between the acne cream and the wrinkle cream, LOL. It is a hard reality check about how close I am to 40...I was 15 when my mom was 38. It's illogical to even think this way- but I wish there was a time machine and I could be where I am in life but, 28 and not 38. H.G. Wells, where are you now???

Even though work is stressful, I am happy for the mental distraction. My DH just called me now at work and has convinced me that we need to take advantage of sushi and sake while I still can...so I am off to eat some fish!!! Hope you all have a good night.

Tiffany - I'm also on Follistim and Menopur. Here's the problem... You need to use Menopur as soon as you mix it. That said, you can just mix it at work and take it there while you're at work. The Follistim has to be refrigerated. I didn't mix anything for that as I used the AQ cartridge. Good luck!
