gradualchanges - I am sure your doctor is doing everything in your best interest. Wow! I can't believe you changed clinics this late! Glad you are able to get everything worked out. Good luck getting AF!

gradualchanges - I will not be doing accupuncture, but I have changed alot of things to get ready for IVF. I lost 25 pounds, changed my diet, work out 5 times a week, on prenatal vitamins, vit. c , flaxseed oil, and royal jelly. Oh and stoped drinking caffeine over 3 months ago. I don't know if any of this works , I have just seen where others have been doing the same.

I am very excited and happy to share this experience together. I don't feel so alone anymore. Wishing and Praying for success for us all!!!

This morning I went in for my b/w and ultrasound. I was ok until the nurse that was doing my u/s started asking me questions.
Nurse: When you had surgery did they remove part of your ovary? Me: No
Nurse: Did they remove any cyst? Me: No
Nurse: So they just removed some scar tissue? Me: Yes
Nurse: Ok, you are all set. Your nurse will call you this afternoon to tell you what to do.
So silly me just says ok and have been worried all day today that something is wrong. My nurse calls at 4 pm today and tells me to start bcp tonight and when I come in on the 9th I will be on bcp day 15. That they will have my calender all set up for me. So thats when I told her what happen today and she said she didnt know why the nurse asked me that today. That on the u/s I had some small blood vessels and she just wanted to make sure that none of that had happen in my surgery. That everything looked good on u/s. Whew!!! lol She said my E2 was good. It was 69,My FSH was a 5, and that my LH was a perfect number. Leave it to me to worry all day for nothing =) So far everything is looking good. Now we are just waiting for my DH SA to come back! I can't believe I am finally at this point and feel like I am in a very good dream hehe. So BCP tonight , I have not taking them in over 5 years lol

Amanda I'm sorry you went through that this morning. Some nurses are so insensitive. Many don't realize what have are or have gone through and this littlest question can make our minds wonder. I'm glad everything is on track for you.

Amanda - yah for starting BCPs! I'm not sure why but my RE doesn't have me starting them until next month. Way to go for losing 25 lbs! I've been taking my vitamins, but still have to get myself off caffeine. That's always been a tough one for me!

AmandaLynn - Sorry your nurse scared you. They need to realize that this is the one time that you will over think EVERYTHING! Congratulations on starting BCP's!!!!!

My husband got his SA back today. His count was 80.5 milloin, 73% motility, 3 FWD. He forgot to write down morphology but he said the nurse said it was excelent numbers. They will be sending results to us in the mail so we can see then lol. That is one less thing I have to worry about. I kept praying to God that he would have over 80 mill and everything else would be ok. God is great.

Just thought I would share my story and how I have come to this point in my life:

I know everything happens for a reason and I know at times I don't understand why we all have to go through things. Over two years ago I found out that I was born with a rare congenital lung called a pulmonary sequestration. I have always been sick since the day I was born and my health got even worse 7 years ago. It took over 30 years to finally get a diagnosis. The only cure is surgery my pulmonologist tells me, so on Aug 28th 2010 I went in for lung surgery. I had complications and had to go back in for a 2nd surgery. I had internal bleeding and had to have a blood transfusion of 5 units. Turns out things were worse then they thought. My whole lower left lung was shriveled up like a peanut leaking secretion into my body (chronic infection ) . I had to have half of my left lung removed. This explains how I got adhesions and scar tissue in my abdomen that in return caused my blocked tubes. Here I am today Thanking God that my lung surgery was a success and my only problem is with my tubes. I never thought I would get to this point in my life. I am so happy that God has made a way for me and my husband. I truly feel very blessed. Yes life has not been that easy for me. With my lung problems to my not being able to naturally conceive. I do know my life could be much worse and God has a reason for me going through this. If not for me ( which I have learned alot because of this) but If it is to help someone else. I am thankful that God trust me enough to be able to handle it with Him by my side. I just pray that my life and my story is used for His glory.To help others by what I have gone through makes everything so worth it. Ty to everyone for the support as always =)

Amanda- wow 25 lbs is impressive. And congrats on the good SA results.

Hope all is well with everyone else. It's been a big day for me. AF made her much anticipated arrival and I had my IVF prep class today. According to the plan, I'm on schedule to have ER and ET done in May! After all this waiting it seems so quick all of a sudden.

Amanda-I like the changes you have made to have your dream of motherhood. You are truly a fighter. I have made almost the same changes you have. I have lost 30 lbs, pre-natal vitamins, omega-3, no caffine (i was addicted to pepsi sodas), i work out 5 to 6 days a week. I was kind of thinking of pushing my ivf cycle to August because of the success I am having with my lifestyle change. My husband is not happy with that thought.

gradualchanges-Im sure your decision to change clinics is the right one. I hope it all works out for you.

Well I am still on bcps and have been since the beginning of April. I will continue them until the end of May.
