So I couldn't wait any longer. I am 8dpto5dt and my POAS showed a positive sign the second I took it out of my pee stream. i hadn't even finished peeing yet and it was positive!
I have been light spotting since Sunday after a very stress filled 2 days and that worries me. I am thrilled the POAS was positive and hanging on to being pregnant. I am also fully STRESS free and doing as much relaxing as work will allow. My 1st beta is Friday with an expected 2nd beta on Monday.

I used the EPT, said on the box most accurate test, cost $10.99 at Walmart for 2 tests, which was the only store I could find near the airport where I flew into last night. Like I said, turned positive in the stream. I will repeat tomorrow since there were 2 in the box just to confirm and am hanging on to cautious optimism with the spotting. If I wasn't spotting, I would be over the moon. For now, I'm holding on to what I've got!

    YEAH!!

    ET postponed until tomorrow

My nurse called this morning and said we only have 1 emby left growing now and she said it was a morula so they want to wait and do my ET tomorrow to give it one more day to grow (or see if it stops growing I guess). The odds aren't in our favor for sure but we'll hold out hope one more day to see what happens.

    Hello all!

JuliaB - You know your body, but from what I've read every pregancy is unique - many women have had the exact same fears and have turned out fine. I know being "cautiously optimistic" gets so exhausting! When I get doubtful I start poking around on the internet and always find positive stories and little miracles. You deserve your little miracle! Good luck tomorrow

ohmybaby - sounds awesome to me!

    flon - congratulations!!

SomeDay - sorry to hear that it's been a tough road I pray it will all be worth it! I don't know that much about my embryos (especially what they're doing right now?!) I only had 5 ret, 4 mature, 3 fert...We had agreed to transfer 2 good embryos, or 3 "fair". They transferred 3. I found so many cases of success w/o perfect or numerous embryos, they don't have to be day5, blasts, 8 cell, or 6 cell...anything is possible. Ignorance can be bliss because it's out of your hands anyway. To beautiful eggs on Sat!

moonbeam - Sounds like one tough cookie you have there! Tomorrow Will Be Your Day!! You certainly deserve it after all of your patience! We'll be thinking of you

I told him no more questions. We're done asking questions. We've agreed not to ask for details. I don't even want to know the quantity/quality of the eggs and embryos as we proceed. I'm just going to assume that we have good eggs, strong embryos and a positive beta by New Years.

I'm not asking any other questions
Good for you! I would just assume that this is the best cycle ever!

Congratulations! I wouldn't worry too much about the spotting that is normal in some women at this point. Good luck!!!

Congratulations!!! You can't tell by the beta how many you have so you need to wait for your ultrasound.

Good luck the next 8.5 months!!!

I am sorry you were postponed and you have 1 embryo, but it really only takes one! Good luck tomorrow!

Julia - I really hope you get good news tomorrow. Rachell's right that every pregnancy is different, so try not to worry. I know it's SO hard not to, though.

    flon - YAY!!! CONGRATS!!!!

ohmybaby - Congrats! I know tons of women who've had spotting during the first trimester and everything turned out fine.

Here's my update: I took two more tests this morning: one regular, which had a slightly darker but still kinda faint line, and one digital, which said "yes +" I'm trying not to get too excited until my betas confirm that everything's as it should be. I know I should probably just try to relax and enjoy it for now. Anyone else feel like this is the slowest week ever? Even being really busy at work is not helping it pass any faster.
