Wow, so exciting to see everyone's progress! I've been so busy I haven't been able to log for a bit.
I started stims on the 27th. That injection stings a bit, my husband won't stick me, although I made him mix them a few times. I've also been on baby aspirin and they already have us on antibiotics. During my baseline ultrasound the nurse said I had a cyst, which scared the crap out of me - as a first timer I thought the worst. I said "I just had surgery, why didn't they tell me I had a cyst?" I didn't know it all changes w/each cycle. Then another nurse said it was just a big follicle and I was ok to proceed. They also doubled my Bravelle last night, the nurse used the word "quiet" when talking about my follicles. I don't know my #s but hopefully they know what they're doing w/my "cyst and quietness" lol. She also said they'll probably have to move my ER back a bit. More Bravelle = more $$! Oh well, I'm still very excited, and seeing everyone elses cycles gives me faith...grow follies grow!
Hope everyone is feeling good! Day 4 of stims - I need to go buy some sweatpants!!

OnlyHope, "heavy" is the perfect word to describe this feeling. I feel like I am carrying around some rocks in my abdomen. I am on day 12 of stims, and it's awful. They think I will get to trigger tomorrow. They were waiting for a bigger group of follicles to catch up to my gigantic one, which was 28 today.
Why the baby aspirin? I've seen that all over the place, but my doc doesn't have me on it.

Hi
Hi I'm new here so I hope I'm in the right place.
I'm doing my first round of IVF. I just turned 30 and have endometriosis and my husband is 38 with no problems. My husband and I got pregnant with twins once before doing IUI with injections but I lost one at 6 weeks and the other at 11 weeks. I'm very nervous.
I've took 225 of follistim for 6 days and last night was my first night of menopur. I had an ultrasound yesterday and had 8 eggs on each side for a total of about 16.
I'm nervous though because my E2 level was 207; the nurse didn't act concerned and said that my level last Saturday was 75 so it is increasing. I also heard her tell the doctor that none of my follicles were over 10 when she was doing the ultrasound.
I have NO CLUE if everything is how it is suppose to be. Both the doctor and nurse keep saying everything looks goods. I'm trying very hard to trust them but I'm having a hard time today for some reason. Can anyone offer me any advice??

Congratulations on getting started! I am sorry you have to stim longer but it will be worth it in the end.
I just want to say that baby aspirin isn't for babies. For some reason whenever I saw that I thought it was something you would give a baby. It isn't. It is low dose aspirin.
Good luck on triggering tomorrow!
Welcome!
I am sorry for your loss but it sounds like you are doing well. The Menopur will help your follies grow so you are ready for your egg retrieval.
Good luck! I know it is hard waiting and not understanding things but I think based on what you have said you are having a great cycle!
