UPDATE
Took my last mix of meds tonight. I'm thinking this will be my last dr. appt before the retrevial. Hopefully triggering tomorrow night and transfer monday morning!

Here's my update. I'm doing an antagonist protocol. On day 7 of stims and I am UNCOMFORTABLE! I feel my ovaries every move I make.

My E2 keeps rising (over 3000 today) even though they keep lowering my Follistim dose (now 50 iu). My largest follicles were around 14/15 on Friday and they want to switch to a Lupron trigger instead of HCG to reduce the chances overstimulation since I still need a few more days of stims to mature the follicles. Anyone use a Lupron trigger or dealt with high E2?

I have never heard of triggering with lupron. I hope they are able to do something for you though, this doesn't sound good. You are really responding to medication though so that is good.

Here is my update:
I went for baseline bw/sono on Thursday, but was unable to start because my lining was too thick, 9.6 – I also had a 12 on the left ovary. I actually got AF on Thursday evening, so they had me come in this morning for bw/sono, still had a 12.5 on the left. The lining came down to 7.5 and I just took both the Gonal F pen and 10 units of low dose HCG!! Has anyone ever used the Gonal F pen? I found it a little difficult. Now I am counting down….

You stim for 10 -12 days. I did use Gonal F and the hand positioning was difficult to do. However I got there in the end. I found it worked best if my hand was upside down. That is the best way I could describe it.

My update: I have my first monitoring appointment on Monday (at that point I will have had three doses of the drugs).

flon831: I did trigger get to tonight at 9:45PM...was sitting in my car haha. I had my two Ovidrel triggers with icepacks to keep then cool, some alcohol pads and hand sanatizer with me :P It was accomplished at 9:45PM...made sure of it Not the ET is monday at 9:45AM but I have to be there for 8:45AM I am excited and nervous!

We were in a hurry to go do errands and I quickly put my meds in a box to take so that we had it for the road so we could do the injection on time. I put 4 Menupur and 2 Bravelle in my box and that is what we injected. Today I was looking at the sheet and it should have been 4 Bravelle and 2 Menupur. Ack.

Hope I didn't screw everything all up.

Just got some disappointing news. E2 is over 4000 and I have over 20 follicles. Retrieval will be Wednesday but I need to freeze the embies and won't be able to do the FET until January because our center closes in December.

I am sorry! I don't think you messed up your cycle though. Just call them tomorrow morning and tell them and things can be fixed. Good luck!

I am sorry but look at it this way I would be willing to put money on you getting pregnant in January. Good luck! What day will they freeze them?

My nurse called and added 2 days to my med scheduling, and essentially moved everything else back 2 days. Today was supposed to be my last day of BCP and my Lupron was going from 20 to 5 tomorrow, but now I'm stuck doing the same dosages until Wednesday. My sims are also now pushed back 2 days. They said the reason was that they wanted to change the dates for my estimated E/R to later in the week than they had figured. I'm just so ready to get to the sims and those extra 2 days are trying my patience.

Moonbeam - what reason did they give you for moving things back? That happened to me, but it was bc my lining was too thick. It is really frustrating though, waiting is the worst. When are you supposed to start stim?

I was curious, at what point during stimming do you start to feel anything? Twinges, achey, swollen? I started on sat night, and I started feeling sore this morning, just thought that was really fast.

UPDATE:I had my ER today it went well. They ended up getting 19 eggies! More than I expected it to be..I was thinking 10- 15 at most. Now I'm just waiting for the call about fertalization and when my transfer will be.

Flon831, I started stimming on Friday and started feeling kind of sore yesterday. Also, my throat has been sore, which I think is a really weird side effect. I wonder what causes that.
