I think I will also be in the December group.. Right now I'm just waiting on AF to show up! I will either be a Nov/Dec or Dec/Jan cycle.. so still unsure.. it all depends on AF!!!

I'd like to join this thread too!

Right now we're waiting for AF to show up to start our first IVF cycle. I think we will have a late November/early December egg retrieval. Going to RE tomorrow for our "nurses talk" and financial meeting. This is our last step in the Pre-IVF process and I have never been this ready for AF to show up!

Wishing everyone good luck!

Also, anyone have any good advice to make the IVF process run smoothly. Of course, I'm anticipating some unpredictable chaos...but anything to hopefully prevent hyperstimulation, how to deal with bloating, injections, etc...

Welcome Julia!

I fixed your siggy issues. You just need to go to below where the reply button is in your reply and it will say if you want your siggy removed. Or if you use a quick reply it is right below the writing area.

Drink plenty of fluids in this process. That is normally my biggest challenge. That will help prevent a bit of OHSS. The injections just take slowly and if you are using progestrone in oil and you get blood, switch the needle. Learned that one the hard way! Bloating just make sure you have plenty of dresses or elastic waist clothing. This is not the time to wear tight slacks and such.

Got married last year and we are TTC but having issues due to Male infertility and my age.

Currently on BCP, estimated date for egg retrieval is 12/1 or 12/2.

First time for IVF.

Hi everyone:

I will either be in this group or the January group depending on my sonohysterogram. I'm expecting AF in two weeks and then I'll have the sono to determine if I can move forward, or I need a hysteroscopy first. If I need the hysteroscopy, I'll be bumped to Jan for my cycle. I'm trying to think positively and I hope I'll be joining all of you in December.

My next appt won't be for a couple weeks when I have the sono.
