Hi Everyone:

I was wondering if I could join this group. I know BC3Ladybugs is gone until 10-03. I'll be starting Lupron tomorrow, and hopefully I'll get AF the following week, get a clear US and start stims. If my body cooperates I should be doing a retrieval in the end of Oct, but because of genetic testing I may not do my transfer until the following month. I didn't realize everything was going to start this fast because I thought I'd be on BCP first like I was at the previous clinic. Anyway, I'm looking forward to starting this crazy rollercoaster and I hope I get some healthy embies.

Poppy-In my last cycle, I started using my thighs for the Menopur for the same reason as you. For me, it was much less painful than my stomach. My nurse said it was fine, but they should show you the area of your thigh to use (unless you already know). It's the outside of the upper thigh.

Had my follow up U/S this morning and we are triggering tonight for ER on Monday! I had a couple more follies catch up and my one big one is probably too large (26!) but it looks like we have about 11 total follies and my E2 is at 1500 from 1300 yesterday so am starting to plateau...really hope we can get at least one to put back! This is our one and only shot...

So now my latest freak out is that I've been reading some people's trigger shot didn't work! That would be my worst nightmare...what is everyone taking for trigger? I have 2-250ug Ovidrels to take...and they have been sitting in my fridge for 9 months so am afraid something went wrong with them (expiration date is not until 2011 though).

Hello everyone. I suppose it's time to move over to this buddy group. I was previously stimming approximately 2 weeks ago and my cycle was cancelled a week ago. I was bummed for a while, but I'm ok now and leaving it all to God. So I'm now waiting to start my next cycle and looking for positive results!

Feeling a little crazy on the Lupron....
Headache? Check!
Constipation? Check!
Hot flash? Check!
Hormonal rage? CHECK!!

Seriously, I just do not feel like myself. This morning in church, the woman behind me was chattering away during the service and I literally fantasized about turning around and SCREAMING at her to be quiet. No worries - I didn't do it!!! But then I literally started giggling because I am usually pretty mellow (especially in church!) Just need to ride it out and take it day by day. Trying to just relax and go with the flow.

Dino - I've never used Lupron - but the stims definitely gave me hot flashes too! My DH was going nuts with how cold I tried to keep the house!
Thanks everyone for the good luck wishes for me tomorrow! I had my blood work and pre-op instructions this morning. Really nervous right now, but excited too.

Ok I'm back from my ultrasound I'm doing very well & am no longer at as much of a risk for OHSS my estrogen level was 4841 so they think I have 30-40 follies (I'm still in my 20's) we trigger tonight at 10 & ER is Tuesday I start doxycycline & methylprednisone tomorrow I'm glad I'm not at as much risk for OHSS now all my gaterade & protein did the trick!! My RE said new studies show it really helps

AFM I had my last BCP today. Now it's another week of Lupron. And the baseline next Tuesday. If everything is OK, I will start stimming 10/16. Feels like time stoped moving for me. Good thing, I don't have any Lupron side effects, may be some emotional.

Well girls...I am triggering tonite!!! my E2 is at 5900..I will only be doing half the trigger shot . I have plenty of follicles...they were in there forever measuring today. The ultrasound tech wasn't very nice with that wand....I don't have exact numbers. He told me I am at a higher risk for OHSS. the RE told me he felt good about everything and That made me feel good also!! I am so giddy right now!! I took my last dose of stims this morning (at the doctors office)...I am so excited. DH has to be there at 5:30 to drop off his sample. I don't have to be there till 7:30 for a 9:30 ER!

That's great! I hope everything goes well. I am anxious to have my first sono tomorrow after starting stims. I don't know if it's the meds but I have been so tired and emotional the past 2 days...
