Has anyone stayed on the same dosage throughout stimulation?

Has anyone stayed on the same dosage throughout stimulation? If so, is this good, bad or neither? I'm on 10 Lupron, 150 Follistim and 150 Menopur. They haven't change my dosage in 5 days (I know it's still relatively early in the stim stage). I've been reading posts where some ladies have their dosages changes almost daily!

This is my first IVF cycle so I don't know what's necessarily good news or bad news.

Hi, I just had my first IVF cycle as well (currently waiting to see if it worked). Anyway, my dosage stayed exactly the same throughout the stim part of my cycle too. I was told it wouldn't change unless I wasn't responding well, or was responding TOO well.... I think if they don't change it, it means you are responding exactly the way they want you to! I was on 150 Gonal-F, 75 Menopur and 5 Lupron the entire time. So try not to worry. And good luck!!!

I had my first (and successful) cycle in april and my stims dosage styed the same the whole time... as nelly07 said, it means that your body is behaving exactly the way they want it too, not too much not too little. try not to worry allthough i know its easier said than done. good luck!

I think it's a GOOD THING if your meds don't change - as others have said, it means you're on exactly the right doses and they're seeing what they want to see! I've done 2 so far and I was never on the same dose of Gonal-F for more than 1 or 2 days - it always was decreased. I tend to overstim and i hope the next time i do it, they keep that in mind!!

Thanks for the reassuring words, ladies. Today is day 6 and the ultrasound showed 4-5 follicles all around 10 millimeters. I asked the doc what that means, and he said it's good but they'll know more in the next few days.

I stayed on the same dose the whole time...the whole time I wanted them to up it , because I did not think I was responding well...when they said I was ready for ER I only had 6 follicles and it was VERY early in the process...i have not been on the stim drugs long ( compared to a lot others) so I was a little aggravated. But they USUALLy know best..and it worked, so it was perfect. I think it is good to not have to change. Great Luck

My first cycle my doseage changed rapidly due to my skyrocketing e2 level. The cycle worked but the rapid stim didn't give the egg quality my RE wanted. This time I was kept on the same dose of meds up until trigger and honestly, I thought my RE was drinking because my e2 went up to almost 6000! After retrieval when the maturity rate went from 94% from my first cycle to 33% w/this cycle I was livid w/my RE and expected nothing good to come of this. Well...this morning the embryologist came in and said that my results were so impressive she thought I'd used donor eggs! I had 16 eggs fertilize and as of this morning 11 were still going strong - way better than my first cycle! So I guess my RE was not drinking and actually knew what he was doing.
