Intro & 2dt Success Stories?

Hello!

I have greatly appreciated reading and learning from all of your experiences! So first off, thank you!! My husband (34) and I (33) have been ttc since Jan. 2006. We are dealing with severe MFI issues. After 4 failed IUI's with Clomid, we moved onto IVF this month. Retrieval was Sunday, 11/8 (14 eggs were retrieved, 9 mature and 4 fertilized). By day-two, one of the four stopped developing. On the recommendation of our RE, we changed our scheduled 3dt to a 2dt. On Tuesday, 11/10, we transferred 3 embies (4 cell-grade 1; 5- grade 1; 2 cell-grade 2)

Today I am 5dp2dt and really anxious about what's going on inside!! Other than feeling really tired (which may be from the progesterone supp), I'm not feeling other symptoms. I did have some minor cramping yesterday.

I would love to hear any similar stories and get your thoughts on my situation. Thank you in advance and best of luck to all of you as well!!!

HRD- Did your RE use ICSI? My dh has male factor as well and we just had our ER yesterday with ICSI. I have hear from many RE's including my own that the best safest place for the embies is in the uterus. Although some RE's like to wait until blast because this is typically when they should have naturally made it down into the uterus, and there are room for some to lose. But sometimes it is not always safe to wait that long if you have a certain number to work with. I sure hope this gives you some relief. I am doing a 3dt on Tuesday more than likely. Keep us posted and I wish you luck! : )

Hi Jen79--Thanks for your response! Yes, we did ICSI, so we were really disappointed that of 9 mature eggs, only 4 fertilized and then only 3 were viable to transfer on day 2. We had planned on a 3dt (that is the typical protocol of our clinic), so I was worried that we moved ahead with a 2dt. GOOD LUCK with your transfer!! I hope you are feeling okay after your retrieval! I will keep you posted, we don't do our first beta until next Saturday. I'm going to try to hold off on taking a test until then....let's see how I do!! Good luck again!!
