urgent protocol ?
Ladies, I am supposed to be taking my shots right now but can't bring myself to do it. Long story short: I stimmed WAY too fast my first IVF so my RE wanted to slow me down (went from e2 of 42 to over 500 in 2 days, over 1500 2 days after that). This time my e2 went from 27 to 167 to 660 in the same time frame (only 4 days of stims). My RE has not adjusted my meds at all which makes me wonder why??? I feel that I'm going too fast again (not so fast as last time, though!) and don't want to compromise egg quality like last time. I am so confused and afraid to inject the same amount of stims. My first cycle I actually decreased my stims on my own when the 500 level came back and again after that before my RE even told me to just because I knew I was going too fast. What would you do??

Bondletmom-can you call the emergency number for your RE office and talk with a nurse? Have you asked your RE why he/she hasn't changed protocol? It sounds like you need more answers and I hope you can get a hold of your RE office. It is probably not good to change the meds with out consulting your RE. If you don't feel comfortable with the clinic maybe look for a new RE. Good Luck!
