Bone pain after PIO?
I started today on 2ml of PIO (previously 1ml). Besides the usual sore butt, I've developed a SEVERE ilio-sacral soreness / pain (in the little round bone that juts out from above your butt). Has this happened to anyone before? I can't even lie on my back and just touching the bone makes me yelp in pain. I certainly didn't inject the PIO there so I'm wondering why this is happening (and when will it go away)?

I am so glad that you posted this! I have had a soreness in my hip bone/joint ever since my last FET. I keep telling my DH that I think it is from either my PIO or estodial shots, but he thought I was crazy since the shots don't really come close to the loctation of my soreness. The bad news is...I can still feel the pain and it has been nearly two months. I plan on asking my RE the next time I see him.
If you happen to talk to your doctor about it, please let me know what you were told. Good luck!

Hi ladies, I also have pain from my last fet which was in July. My re said dh must've hit a nerve so the pain is sort of spread around the area where the injection was. It reaches about 4 inches away from the site. The pain is almost gone now but I still feel it when someone touches the area or I bang it into something.

Thanks for the response, ladies. I have my FET this Sunday so I will ask the RE then.
This is gonna last for months? ![]() It didn't happen to either of you when doing PIO for your IVFs, right? Only since PIO for FET? That's the case with me and I wonder if it has anything to do with the doubling of the PIO dose for FET? I've been injecting pretty much in the same area as before, so why now? I agree, a nerve has been hit but jeez, how do you avoid hitting it if you have to do this every frikkin day? I'm nervous about injecting my one "good" hip today because I'm afraid of the same thing happening on that side too.
