IVF Meds

Question to all you IVFer's. As some of you know I am on my second IVF and unfortunately my insurance my first IVF was 60/40 for my medications but it was only up to 2000.00 and I just found that out. I have already started my Lupron and need to start my stims on 11/21. Am looking to get new meds at a decent price, anyone know of any places I can get meds at a decent price and if so how long did they normally take to ship?

Where are you going for treatment because some places have deals with certain pharmacies. I go to RGI (Columbus) based out of Akron and they have a deal with Follistim and schrafts pharmacy who I used had a cash discount for those of us paying out of pocket. I have also heard Freedom pharmacy is reasonable. I think there may be an entire board on here somewhere about financing your IVF, I have also checked that out. At my clinic they have samples of Follistim if I run out, because they work closely with the drug rep which is great, as you know it is liquid gold!!

Alexander's Twin pharmacy (in NJ) was the cheapest, and I called a dozen or so. Free overnight shipping too.

I've heard good things about ivfmeds.com. They are based in the UK, so you can't do overnight orders, but if you give yourself enough time they are supposed to be good.

I used IVFmeds.com and they were the cheapest i had found anywhere. Shipping took 7 days and it was free. I was on Bravelle and Menopur and 12 days of those meds cost me just under 2000. I would definitely use them again if needed.

Call around and price check your specific meds. I found a $2000 difference on the exact same medicine (Follistim).

Places to check:
IVPCare (owned by Walgreens)
Schrafts (owned by Walgreens)
Freedom
Braun (in Chicago)

Braun had the best cash price for Follistim last month of those 4.

Any of those can overnight you the drugs.

There is also free garage sale. com
Although- you are buying leftovers from real people there, not a pharmacy... and it's not legal. STILL, many people do it and most people have success with it. You are taking somewhat of a risk though, but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do. The prices are wayyy discounted.
