KindHiker - If your crust is sticking to everything...I would suggest putting your dough between two sheets of parchment paper. That's what I do. Just roll it out in the parchment paper, then peel it off. I have had no problems with sticking since I started using the parchment paper.

BB - I'll email my MIL for her wheat crust recipe. She'll be thrilled to pass it on.

Our family is vegetarian, not fully vegan...like to make things healthy when possible...but it HAS to taste good...cuz we LOVE food. :P

Ok- since we're on this food kick, and hope2bpregnant wants to lose weight and I wouldn't mind losing a few myself, what do y'all eat for healthy snacks?

My latest thing is apple slices dipped in a mix of peanut butter and honey. I also love carrots sticks with hummus. Any other super healthy but scrumptious ideas?

I just got back on Nutrisystem after my failed cycle, and they provide the entrees but you need to provide your own fruits, veggies, and dairy, so here's what I do: I make a huge omlet-type thing with 4-5 veggie servings (1/2 cup each), 1 cup of egg beaters, and a sprinkle of fat free cheese. It's not as big as it sounds. Then for my fruits, I make smoothies with nothing but fresh fruit and ice cubes. Delicious!

I think both of your ideas sound delicious! I eat fruit when I'm snacking but I don't do anything special to it. I like to make popcorn on the stove and put a little garlic powder and salt on it. It's pretty good, it'd be better with air popped corn. I should really get one! I've also started mixing fruit juices with plain sparkling water every now and then. And I love to take organic valley choc soymilk
and heating it up..it's as good as Swiss miss hot cocoa. It has plant fat and sugar but it's a protein packed treat.

BB- it was a great idea to talk healthy!

AFM-I have my "post ivf consultation" tomorrow. My tube hurts all the time and I think I'd like to get it out. Plus it will give me better ivf chances. I know it sounds crazy but I just want it out. It'd be good if I could get it out before thd end of the year since I already met my annual out of pocket maximum with insurance. I've been thinking about it alot. That tube had hydro last year and although it isn't showing up on ultrasound, j suspect something is going on with it to give me regular pain and sabotage my pregnancy when it happens. Sorry for the heavy talk on holiday hiatus....

Kindhiker-

It's okay to talk about the heavy stuff, too. I think you're making the right decision to get it out. Pain is a message that something is wrong.

Thanks BB, your right about pain. Plus that tube hurt after each ivf when bfp was confirmed so I'll bring it up (big time) at my apt today. Now is the perfect time to get it out because I'm taking a hiatus from ivf anyway. So I will have time to heal before going again. Well I'll be on later to say what we're gonna do about that darn tube.
