male speciman

I am penciled in to go in for retrival on Monday. I was just wondering how long my husband should wait to ejaculate before to collect the best possible speciman.

Your RE or Andrologist should be able to advise you on this. From what I've read, men with low counts do better waiting 3-5 days prior to giving a sample, but men with high/normal counts have better samples by waiting 1 day between samples. My DH has low count, we waited on the longer end of 5 days for his last analysis and we had 2 mill good swimmers and a few million bad ones, I think this was excellent, so we'll be doing the same thing for our cycle.
