Sarahlisbeth - Hello again, I know what you mean about being busy. I have been totally crazy these last few weeks. Make sure you keep us updated on your ER. Good Luck!

Ryanshope - Great news on your fert report! How many are you guys going to transfer?

Ravenswood - I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers hon, they are growing so maybe it will all even out at your next u/s.

LAP - On my first cycle they had me stim and extra 2 days. That is normal if they think your E2 levels are not too high and a couple more days of stimming could help you out then that is good. Let those eggs grow and be mature.

DeanandKrissy - Try and relax. Sometimes stress can cause AF to stay away. I know this whole process is stressful but it will come!

KatieCaskey - Awesome news! Looks like you are going to have plenty of good embabies to choose from! Let us know how your transfer goes today!

PJ33 - Good News, you'll be moving right along now!

AFM: Had my 1st u/s this morning since starting stimming and they still only saw 8 follies, but the good news is they all seem to be around the same size. I have 2@ 9.5 - 1@ 8.5 - 3@7 and 2@6.5 - I am feeling this medication more than the first time around. My hormones are going a bit crazy. I am fine, but then if I get mad - I go off!! I am trying to be more calm, and I have been getting headaches as well. It will all be worth it in the end!! Hope everyone is having a great Monday!

    My Mood
    Tired
Was hoping for an update from Katie. Hoping everything went well.

As for how many to transfer its going to depend how many we have come Wed. My DH is optimistic and thinks out of the 11, we'll have 8. I think it'll be 5 or 6. We're being aggressive last time and this time. My problem is implantation. I dont have a great success rate. We transferred 4 3day embies last cycle/last month. What we're trying to decide this time is if there are only 5, do we go with 5? Or go with 4 and freeze 1? I really dont want to freeze just 1 b/c I would need to get alot more frozens (meaning several more fresh cycles) to have enough to make a FET worth while. I personally (for me only, not saying this is wrong or anything like that) wouldnt attempt a FET if I only had 4 frozen. If my insurance covered anything at all, it'd be a different story.
Now come Wed, if we have 6 left, we'll transfer 4 and freeze 2.

Very quickly, transfer was okay. It took longer than i thought and honestly they were a little behind and my bladder was so full. The RE was nice and catheterized me so I could be comfy for my 30 min wait. We decided on 2 blast and they were very cute Now the real wait begins. I just was laying down for about 3 hours and now just up piddling around. I keep thining "did it work?" Beta is 7/23 but I will be doing HPT WAY before then LOL and no one can talk me out of it so forget it. I will read all updates later.

babieswanted: That sounds excellent. All around the same size is really where you want them. Grow follies grow!

RyansHope: Hopefully the embryos will make that kind of decision for you. Think positive!

Katie: Same thing happened to me last IVF. They were behind and I was so overfull that I couldn't walk. I wasn't as lucky as you to be catheterized. I had to suffer! lol Lots of for you!

AFM: Since my apppointment was late this afternoon, I knew I wouldn't be able to wait for my E2 results. So I went to a lab early this morning so the results would be in by the time I had my appt. Well, my E2 was a whopping 1750 this morning!! That's higher than it's ever been, even on trigger day! He counted and measured more than 15 follies between 15-20mm, and my lining is perfect. I was so worried last Thursday. Even the nurse said (unsolicited) this cycle is looking perfect, b/c it's a great number of eggs, and they're all symmetrical. I stim just tonight, then trigger tomorrow. ER is Thursday ET Sunday (maybe a 5 day if embryos look good).

Ryanshope - I can understand, I don't think I would want to freeze just 1 either. I would rather implant that one and take my chances. But who knows maybe you guys will have 4 to implant and at least 4 to freeze! Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Katie -Yeah! I am throwing tons of super sticky baby dust at you!!! The bladder thing just about kills me, I have a small bladder and it doesn't take much to fill it up.

Hatzy - Yeah! That is great news! This is going to be an eventful week for you!

AFM: RE called and my E2 was 149 and not where it was at this point last time (simply because we don't have the same follies as we did before) anyways they up'ed my meds from 300 Follistim to 450 Follistim for the next 3 nights. We will see how that goes!

Katie- Sorry you had to wait today and now the new wait starts.
Yes I intend on 4 (as we did last cycle) and depending on what they look like (my clinic doesnt grade) maybe a 5th one if there are only 5 left come Wed. All depends what they look like. My RE is aggressive and lets the final decision be up to the patient. Well, within reason of course.
This is based on alot of things, like this is our 15th treatment, I'll be 31 in Sept, have PCOS, have had polyps and endo scraped at my annual Lap for the last 3 years, and financially we're nearing the end. That all plays into how aggressive we want to be.

hatzy- thats great about your e2!!! You are so on your way!

babies Wanted- so sorry. I hope that the increased Follstim will do the job.

Bcryan – Good luck with tomorrow’s no of embies! I hope all 6 made it to beautiful embies for you to transfer 4 and freeze 2

Katie – Welcome to PUPO! When will you start POAS?? I am thinking to do it in 2 days time..

Hatzy – Great report with 15 follies! Keep us posted after ER

    Babieswanted – Grow follies grow!

Afm – this is my ..5dpt (counting ET as day 1). I have been unable to sleep for the past 5 nights since ET. One part of me praying hard for the 2 embies to stick..one part of me thinking of the worse. Feel like doing HPT test from 7dpt onwards so that I can sleep better at night.. knowing earlier better than later?
