Dose anyone’s FET protocol dose not have lupron?

I am very sensitive to lupron and my blood pressure is very high when I was on lupron during last FET cycle.
I ask my RE if they can use a FET protocol which dose not have lupron and he tell me they always use lupron. I believe there must be some FET protocols which don’t have lupron. Any one can share your protocol ? Thanks.

There definitely can be a protocol without lupron...it's called a natural FET...they basically just track your body and align with your ovulation. A lot of docs don't like to do it because it requires more monitoring, you can miss ovulation, and sometimes it is hard to get your lining up to snuff....

I hate lupron so wish I had done it last time too...

Maybe check the FET board and you prly will find some more information over there....

Best of luck!

I had an FET cycle in Nov-Dec and my cycle included estrogen patches and PIO shots after ET but no Lupron. I'm hypothyroid, so didn't want Lupron specifically.

Lupron is not in my protocol for my upcoming FET. It is just PIO, estradiol, and progesterone suppositories.

I didn't have Lupron with my FET that I just did. I used estrogen patches, PIO shots, and progesterone suppositories. They just lined everything up with my cycle and monitored with u/s.
Good luck!

I started with the estrogen patches on day 1 of my cycle. They did u/s on day 8 to make sure I was responding and my lining was getting thick. Then I just had bloodwork after I started the PIO shots. The natural FET was definitely very easy. I don't know results yet, I had my ET on Friday and I have beta on Sunday. I only had 1 embryo transferred b/c my problem has not been getting pregnant, but rather having m/c due to chromosomal abnormalities. So we did PGD and transferred 1 5-day grade AA blast that is chromosomally normal. My RE really pushed me to only do 1. I went back and forth, but in the end, took his advice. I'm hoping and praying that it worked!

My RE does not use lupron for FETs at all. Instead, you start estrogen patches and estrogen pills vaginally when you start the cycle (with AF). He explained that starting estrogen in the beginning would help repress ovulation. When the lining is ready, you keep on the estrogen patches, stop the pills, and start progesterone for the transfer. Very easy.....no shots or anything!
