About LinkBacksI am supposed to start my birth control pills when I start AF sometime in the next few days. Do you think it will hurt to start bcp's before I start af? It would really help us out timeline wise. If we move everything up a few dats then I will have more resting time after the transfer. What do u think?

Here is what my RE said:
Starting BCPs too early can prevent the uterine lining from completely shedding. If the lining is too thick, they could not start my cycle.
I am/was in the same boat. I am a teacher and wanted the ER and ET days to fall on my time off.

that is one thing I prly wouldn't mess with...I would be so worried about affecting the lining. What day do you start them? Day 2 or 3 of AF?
maybe someone else has done it and can offer their perspective. I'm usually a rule follower cause I stress the entire time that I caused a problem if I do my own thing

I start on Day 1 of AF. Does anyone have an estimate of days between the start ofLupron until the day or ER?

I would definitely talk to you RE or nurse about it.
as for the time between taking BCP's to ER will depend greatly on your response to the meds. For me with both cycles, I was on BCP for about 3 weeks and then stims for about 2 weeks.Last edited by ctd; 11-28-2008 at 06:11 PM.

Here is my schedule and I was told it was pretty much textbook. Originally Posted by Erin Nicole
