So Upset, Pregnancy Mentioned (not mine)

Please excuse me for a moment, while I vent. I'm so upset, and just had to let it out here, where at least someone understands what I'm feeling. So DH just got off the phone with one of his good friends; he tells me that they're expecting a boy in the beginning of Jan. I immediately began to ball my eyes out. These people have 7, that's right 7 children; she was on BCP and NOT EVEN TRYING!!! So while I'm crying and going on about how I'm so tired of hearing about people getting pregnant who don't even want kids right now; not so DH starts yelling at me!! Telling me I have no right to get angry at other people's situations. And that I have no idea what they have been through, so I shouldn't judge, and I need to be happy for them. He told me he didn't even want to hear what I had to say. I'm so upset, I can't stop crying; and I have to be at work in an hour. Ugh. Am I in the wrong here? I just feel so depressed and feel like it's hopeless.

You have every right to be upset with the unfairness of IF. It hurts alot to see couples without IF problems enjoying their lives and not having to worry about all the stuff we go through. You should be able to vent to your hubby.. he should be more supportive.. however, in cases where husbands aren't so supportive, this forum is the right place to vent.

Hope you feel better soon.. and are successful in your IF journey.

Sending BIG hugs to you.

While you never know what a couple has been through till you're in their shoes, 7 babies definately is a reason I would be jealous too.

It hurts to see other people get so easily what we struggle and struggle for years and spend all our emotional reserves and financial resourses for just a CHANCE at.

I understand where you are coming from.

Thanks ladies for letting me vent. It's nice to be able to come here and just let it out how your feeling and have people here who understand how your feeling and where your coming from. Thanks so much for the support

I would feel the exact same way, so I don't think your reaction is unusual or wrong. I agree with Hanna ... maybe DH is upset too and doesn't know how to express it.

Hang in there. These boards are a great place to vent, as sometimes only other women dealing with this unfair IF situation can understand.
