For those who meditate - guided imagery, what are some good tracks?

Ok, well, I have the Anjionline for IVF. And I LOVE that.

Does anyone have any general meditation or imagery suggestions? I have some Zen style music I like, but I'm looking for some more guided imagery...

I've done meditation with both of my surrogacy transfers. Several times a day I close my eyes and do breathing techniques. Breath deeply while telling the babies to snuggle in. Breath out negative feelings and stress. Concentrate on telling your little ones to snuggle in. Imagine the embies burrowing in to the thick lining (sort of in the first person, if that makes sense). Those are the kinds of things I do/did.

For my next transfer I plan to make up an imagery board as well. Cut out pics of pregnant women, the number of embies you are planning to transfer, the number of little ones you hope stick around, words that you find encouraging and that help you focus on positive thoughts, that kind of thing. Glue it all on a poster board and hang it up where you can see it often.

    Hope this is helpful.
Hugs, many positive thoughts coming your way.

Thank you! That was useful! Are there any specific CDs that you listen to? The Anji CD walks you through exactly what you just said. It tells you to picture your uterus with the lush lining, and visualize the embies snuggling right in.

Yeah, I'm after CDs. I seem to do much better by having someone "guide" me.

I downloaded "Healing Meditation" by Kelly Howell from iTunes. I like it.

I also finally learned a good breathing technique that I use whenever I think of it. Breath in kind of but not too slowly for a count of 4 and then release for a count of 4 or 8 if you really want to relax. I feel like it calms me down. I totally did it during my transfer and as I laid in bed for 4 days.

    Good luck!!!

Anji is the best I've had when it comes to guided imagery! There is another I have by Belleruth Naparstek that a lot of people like. I do like it (Her voice takes some getting used to) but she goes a bit fast for me. She'll say something like "Take in 3 deeps breaths" and before I can do that she's moving on. Also, she'll tell you to imagine yourself in a safe beautiful place, then I'm picturing the ocean, then she says "It could be one a rock...in a forest...on a beach..." That throws me off because I was allready at the beach! It is good though! Maybe you can find some sound clips online and see if you like it.

One of my favorite meditation CD's (Besides Anji) is one with just sounds. It's called Theta Meditation System by Dr. Jeffrey Thomson. It says "Clinically Proven." It works for me! Within a few minutes I'm really relaxed. Here it is http://www.amazon.com/Theta-Meditati...948186&sr=8-15

    Hope this helps!

Let us know how you like the other Anji Cd's. If there as good as the IVF one I may invest in another. I had my eye on that bracelet and had to stop myself!

HAHAHA - and then I wanted to search for a fertility necklace. I chose this (with leather strap):

    Here's what it means:
A solid nugget of Rose quartz dangles from a sterling hammered and delicately stamped ring.Rose quartz is said to help promote and support a new pregnancy and protect the tender new life from miscarriage. They are also a gentle stone, providing us with love and compassion, balancing our emotions through our often turbulent journey to conceive a much wanted baby.

The sterling silver Hill Tribe turtle is a powerful symbol of both fertility and protection. A sea turtle lays anywhere from 50-150 eggs at a time, our hope is that she may bestow her fruitfulness on the wearer! In Native American culture the turtle represents strength, patience and the power to endure and persevere. All gifts that we need on our journey, while we wait until the moment we can cradle our miracle babies in our arms.

The moonstone leaf aids receptivity, and will help to prepare the mother-to-be to welcome a new life into her body, and the new phase of life that comes with conception. It is an overall promoter of female reproductive health.

    Isn't that cool?
