Hi Michelle,
I am no expert but I think it's possible but not too probable. Sorry but the only thing to do now is stock up on lots of tests! maybe you can post on the main boards?

Michelle- it could be but that's doubtful!! The trigger usually takes longer to show up this late after being done (mine was gone at 9dp trigger) Did you buy a multipack so you can test again over the next couple of days? I would assume it's a +++ though!!! Congratulations!!!

Michelle- I agree with Sandy- or you could just call your OB/GYN and ask him to have it done. Good luck!!!

michelle - that's great news!!! WOO_HOO!!! I would call and talk with them and let them know it was a BFP and want a beta done sooner...what would it hurt?!
Sandy72 - Factor V is a blood clotting disorder. After I m'c last Jan, I was tested. I didn't even know I was tested or dx. When I started seeing a new RE in Sept, he told me. Needless to say, I was LIVID!! I shoudl have been taking baby aspirin all along and no one told me. I quickly left my OBGYN and also started seeing a hemotologist. Funny thing is though, after my csection, I hemmoraged - so my Factor V causes me to clot, yet I did just the oposite at one point?!?!?
Either way, I'm glad I found out because it's hereditarty and we now know that my mom was the carrier. So scary!
heathermat - why are you on Lovenox? I start mine tomorrow. I probably should have started them earlier but since I've been on bedrest, they wanted to wait until I could come in for instructions, although I've told them that I already know how to do the sub-q injections because of all of these other drugs... Oh,well! I'm glad to hear they aren't too painful, but I'm not looking forward to the bruises. I still have a few bruises from the lupron and then one HUGE NASTY one on my belly from either the lupron or bravelle/menopur...it's been there for over a week and just keeps changing to grosser colors! Any side effects? I really don't know much about it...
I can't believe how many BFP's there have been for us...I hope I can be added to that list soon...but worried...guess that just comes with the territory of the 2ww, huh?!?!?
Glad to see this thread is moving!! I get bored and check in here often!

My nurse told Dh to take me for breakfast, so we did. I was very reluctant, but figured I had to eat... We then went back to the hotel (traveled for the ER/ET) and napped for a few hours before getting lunch and hitting the road back home. I did lay down on the ride home. Since then, I pretty much have stayed in bed, except to get up to pee and eat meals. I go from laying, to sitting, to leaning, etc as I'm so uncomfortable laying here all day... Today I did get up for a shower, I just couldn't stand it any longer, but I will probably stay in bed all day/night until tomorrow's shower, when I should be off of bedrest ok.

BC-dmbucky- I too had a m/c (Nov.'07) my RE added the Lovenox to prevent clots too- he thinks that may have been what caused the m/c but we will never really know- just pulling out all the stops to improve my chances this time. Are you sure the HUGE NATY bruise is from the Menapur? IT may be from your trigger!! that leaves a HORRIBLE bruise. I did my trigger 10 days ago- still a nasty looking mess!! Either way- best of luck this cycle!!

Progesterone can cause some really bad headaches. I got them last time. I had a bit of one last night but no where as bad....
Michelle-I think that is awesome and it showed up early days for you!!!! I would test tomorrow and compare darkness...if it gets darker then you can feel quite confident that it is not the trigger....trigger divides in 1/2 every 2 days....first day 10k, 2 days later 5k etc....mine have always been gone REALLY fast though...I had a 10k trigger that I could barely see a line by 5 days later...by 7 it was gone...I think that I will have to have alot of HCG in my blood to get a positive on a test.
Dmbucky-I was very sore for the first 3 days after surgery....I still don't feel quite right...tired and weak and a little crampy in my lower stomach...hopefully that is good.
I think I am going to stock up on tests this weekend and MAYBE test on Monday but prly start Tuesday.....it is going to be hard to hold out, but mine are just starting to hatch today so no implantation for me.
I looked at my embryos from last cycle and this cycle's definitely look better in the picture they gave me. I talked to my stomach for a long time when I was in bed last night.
I just get this scary feeling alot, that I may be one of those people that there is something wrong with and just cause we had good embryos, we still aren't going to get pregnant. I know I need to think positive, but does anyone else feel that way????
That you may be one of those unlucky ones where IVF still doesn't work....that 1st failure just makes me question things more I guess....

Hello,
Dmbucky, I always struggle to write your name! I can't believe your first RE didn't tell you. Did he just forget to let you in on the part? Seems so negligent of him and unprofessional. I am very sorry about your m/c. After my 3rd one, (because the placenta may have detached or had a clot in it) I was tested for any blood disorders and abnormalies and everything came back normal- don't know if that was a good or bad thing. It's funny my nurse also told my dh to take me to breakfast!
We have we don't really have proof that lying down helps at all. I was chatting with my nurse on my ET day and she said that the clinic doesn't tell women to lie down for one day or two or three days... She said you can lay down or sleep if your tired but you can even go SHOPPING on the day of the ET!
Xtgirl, that's good advice with the lines getting lighter or darker . I was actualy thinking about IVF not working fo me just this morning. My first ivf didn't work & the comment I got from one of the RE's was, "oh , maybe because of your endometriosis.. I thought the reason I was doing ivf in the first place was because of my endo! It sounds so circular- with no logic.
I've been listening to the BEATLES- "Let it Be". I feel I have no control over the outcome at this point... If it is a BFP- I'll be thrilled. If it's a BFN, I'll cry a little (o.k a lot) and then have very dark cups of coffee & maybe some wine an dstart thinking about a June cycle. LIFE goes on.
