Question about injections

Hi,
I am on my first day of Lupron and tomorrow start stims. When I fill to 20ml there is some air at the top...if I push it out then I am below the 20 line so I freak out and start again.

What do you guys do to have that not happen, do you go farther than 20 or do you just not worry about the air bubble (its more like a pocket) in the top of the syringe

Turn the bottle upside down, push the needle such that it stays under the liquid. Draw more than you need. Push air bubble out and excess back into bottle.

Hth,
Emily

XTgirl -
I draw back past the 20, then push the air and any extra meds back into the vial. You need to be sure that you are getting 20ml of Lupron in the vial without any air pocket - otherwise you aren't getting the right amount of meds.

Good luck!

Emily & 'cilla gave you great advice!! Do that & you'll get exactly the amount you're supposed to have for each of your injections!!

Good luck as you start stims today!!
