WooHoo! 3rd beta finally in..after RE forgot to call me last night and I had to call him this afternoon.

6dp5dt = 37
12dp5dt = 715
18dp5dt = 7,000's

I dont have the exact number from 3rd beta, I did not talk to RE directly, but he said that it was in the 7,000's and I am happy with that.

I dont understand though why he wants to delay the us for one more week. It was scheduled for next Friday (8th) but now he want to do it the following week (15th)? Do you think it has anything to do with my high fever and maybe he wants to check for nueral spine development? The 15th with be in the 7th week thus the nueral spine should be fully developed by then. I keep freaking out about all of these little things, but I cannot help it!

Congrats on your wonderful third beta.

How many in there do you think?

He could have moved your scan date for many reasons.....is there anyone at your clinic you are close to that you could find out why? My clinic prefers to do a scan at 7.5 weeks.....but with me they do them earlier because I am one of their longest cycling patients and they know how worried I get.

No I am not close with anyone there. I have asked questions but they are very honest/vague. For example: how long do I need to take the HCG shots every three days and the nurse answered - everyone is different and we want to help maintain the pregnancy. So I answered, so until he says stop and she laughs and nods. So I will just wait.

By the way, if you havent read on the other sites my SIL did an ultrasound on Friday and for sure found 2 babies growing. No heartbeat yet, but she said for sure by next Friday. I cannot wait.
