Hello - yup, my DP had a much better cycle on lupron than on cetrotide. We had done the cetrotide protocol, not because we thought she was a poor responder but due to timing (our RE cycles women in groups and due to work/school timing we wanted to be a part of a certain group so the cetrotide protocol worked best). Here were our results:
Cetrotide protocol:
20+ follicles
12 eggs (some follies contained blood - DP has endometriosis)
6 mature eggs
5 fertilized
transfered 3 on day 3; none to freeze
result: chemical pg
Lupron protocol:
>25 follies
27 eggs!!!
20 mature
17 fertilized
10 made it to blasts!!! Transfered 3 (2 into me and 1 into DP), froze 7!!!
result: me: BFN DP: pg but m/c (blighted ovum)
We still have our 7 frozen - so we're still on this journey, but the lupron protocol definitely was better for us. I remember someone else who also responded much better on lupron after a antagon (same as cetrotide) protocol.
