I used Accu-Clear at 6dp5dtr and got two pink lines immediately. It has been 13 days since I took the HCG shot. I did some research on this HPT and was not too impressed. Can HPT detect LH and come up positive? I'm thinking of buying another brand and test again tomorrow.
Thanks

I used accu-clear the first time I tested and got a faint, faint line. I have now gone back and used some Store-brand style E.P.T knockoffs and gotten dark lines.
So they all gave me the same result. Today I am 8dp5dt
I think 2 lines is as good a result as you are going to get!!!
congrats,

Sounds all good to me! You could try a FRED or a ClearBlue easy digital!

HPT's are basically all the same, try the Digital clear blue if you are uncertain.

Hi ladies
I took another HPT this am which is the same brand from yesterday because I had two sticks. today is 7dp5dt and 14 days past HCG shot. I got two lines again but I was worried because the line was like yesterday afternoon. I wanted it to be darker.

Newj,
What I'd always heard is that HPTs are qualitative tests, not quantitative--which in plain English means that they show that you have the quality of being pregnant (yes/no) versus the quantity of pregnancy, so to speak, as in "how pregnant" you are. I did the same thing--peeing on multiple sticks each day, and was depressed when I wasn't "more pregnant" from day to day : ) If it's any consolation, I had only a faint line long after my HCG had been tested by blood to be over 7,000. Besides, 13 days after trigger you might throw a 4 by blood, and your urine metabolites would be MUCH lower. Plus, the lowest threshold HPTs I've ever heard of test to 20 mL, and most are 45 mL.
I say you're pregnant--YIPPEE!!

Newj-My lines weren't getting darker and some were even getting lighter and I freaked out and told my husband it was a chemical pregnancy. We were a mess...and my first beta was 434! I DEFINITELY learned then that the color of the line means nothing.

Anyone get a negative with home test and get positive beta? If I do give in and test and get a negative I want to hold out hope! Thanks.
